Best player for me today – good honest young player who puts a shift in and his strike rate so far is very impressive !
      5 from 10 isn’t it?

          No debate whatsoever needed
          FA Cup
That FA cup win and subsequent European campaign raised the profile of our club far more than those eight seasons in the Premier league ever did.
It changed our club forever – the premier league didnt

Great song and should be played at the beginning of games rather than that monkey’s song -something we are long overdue at the club.
derby play a superb folk song before their home games and it really got the crowd fired up as the teams lined up for kick off – get it sorted before the home game with Leeds!

I am probably looking forward more to wembley and the FA cup than the other games because imagine if we won that game and went to the final again?

Oh dear I agree with you but being childish especially when you start racking up the big numbers is essential to fight the process :)
It was just kids but they were behaving atrociously and on a more serious note rather worrying for the future if this sort of 1970s mob mentality is happening across the country.
they balls it up for everyone else that pub had to close for a period after the game on police advice no doubt due to their stupid behaviour before the game.

A point was all we deserved and surely we won’t play as badly as that on Tuesday against the best team in the division.
fantastic saves from Ali and some good defending mean the point is a bonus one and I wasn’t too disappointed at the end .

On the balance of play and chances missed we could have won by a greater margin really.
Almunia in their goal made some great saves and it was as inevitable as a wet bank holiday when they snatched the against the run of play goa
A good three points and one that puts us in a good position to go on and reach the play offs -the uwe machine continues to march on!

I paid £280 for 26 games which works out at less than £11 a game which is probably cheaper than some teams in the northern premier league .
A good offer but our crowds. Have held up well and are not much different to our premier league days if you just count the home speccies.

An error strewn game really and the final minutes could have cost us all three points but they deserve some credit for not giving in and making it a very difficult game and they will stay up if they have that sort of fight.

Errors like not closing people down and trying to get the fourth goal when just running the clock down gave them the chances to get back and I’m still a bit mad about that last goal.
Lets hope it is just a blip some very big tests coming up after the Watford game.

He does come across on tv as very modest and level headed.
To get promotion with a club on their gates and revenue I will be a massive achievement and I’m so glad he will probably beat those media darlings and that whinging old swine.
Saw him today in an interview with his usual self pitying rubbish to deflect blame from himself
“Ad to sell all me fa kin players we ain’t got any manny ” blah blah blah
Dyche is a breath of fresh air

In any competitive situation you should aim very high and see what happens and it seems our manager is doing just that.
Rosler will have forgotten yesterday already and will be focusing on Yeovil at home now which is what the great managers always do.
after the next two fixtures the rest of them look very tough indeed but we said that going into march and if we keep on winning who knows?
Burnley haven’t had wobble yet and will certainly get nervy as they approach the final straight –
                            maybe ,maybe ,maybe!

Up to Fifth 5 points behind QPR and Derby with two games in hand :)

Only downer today … Burnley 2-1 winners versus Leeds (0-1 down in last 2, came back to win both).

My message (UR) to the players : lets go win MIN 11 out the last 12 … would put us there or there abouts for top 2. Why Not ? This team is on fire (injuries permitting ….) Naturally, he’ll only talk publicly about the play-offs.

Powell, Maloney etc. back in the fold …… quality midfield reinforcement would be welcome (Watson, McCann).
                              O
Another outstanding result today, lads :cheer:[/quote]

We’re also have a media blackout it seems ,no mention of us on talksh@te tonight but plenty mentions for QPR and Brighton and drone Albion despite the fact we are now in the top six and on the up.
That will suit nicely although if they win 11 out of 12 I will gladly put a bolton top on and parade through wigan town centre after chucking out time.
Burnley do not seem to have had a wobble and just seem to be cruising towards 90 points while Leicester are heading towards the 100 mark so 11 out of 12 wins would be the minimum needed anyway!
A pity Uwe didn’t get down here sooner but I think he is going to be paid back for his dreadful luck with Brentford last year -it just seems meant to be and nothing is going to stop it!
Wonderful times to be a tics fan !

It isn’t winning ugly it is just being organised and being able to deal with efficiently with teams in this division and get results rather than trying to entertain all he time.Real football supporters go to games to watch their team get results and to be honest I enjoy watching different styles of play and if it gets results then so be it.
The big tests are to come and I reckon we will need about 73 points plus to get into the play offs so there is very little slack for any slip ups but I like the way he sets up the team now and I think we will get the points we need although the pile up of fixtures concerns me somewhat.
I have a feeling though that if we get into the play offs we will have a brilliant chance of achieving promotion back to the premier league given our mangers ability with tactics and I have a sneaky feeling we could do it.
