Remember a documentary by itv on a club in Scholes or Whelley about twenty odd years back.A big sport in Wigan back in the olden days and in other mining towns I’m sure.

unsavoury incident yesterday and I agree with Ferguson about how dangerous that was-the player seemed smug in interviews after the game. The authorities need to look into this in my view.
There is something about Swansea that is starting to bug me with their gold trimmed kit and some of their faux big time players-seem to have Forgotten their roots something our club and and supporters have never done.

Nothing wrong with their kit; th

all white with trimmed gold -media darlings which grates especially after only two years

Same old story we had the majority of the play & clear chances, predictable is the word :(

we had a good few chances and once again didn’t take them.Kones first half miss was diabolical-he is having a mare at the moment although I still think he will come good.
our home form is awful this year and I think a few new faces is needed to freshen everything up as our squad is far too weak at the moment.

We are in the exact same position with almost identical points and goal difference for the 3rd year running and so I don’t see why some of us are surprised ! I will say it again, this club has gone as far as it can possibly go !

Deja vu yes so what is negative about that?-teams never get relagated in december do they?
Each year the final points tally has been improved upon under Martinez and i have no doubt that

this will happen again. He does an incredible job on tight resources which is why other clubs keep
hovering about each close season.

Three worse teams on what I have seen

west ham. Will be down there come April don’t worry about that our full strength outclassed them and I think the nerves will set in soon

QPR-our full strength team would have beat them no problem

reading. No explanation needed

Southampton. The new Blackpool

Sunderland. Never been impressed with this shower and probably had the luckiest win ever back in January when the ref and gale force wind gave them a win and it was the same in September.
whelan has been very quiet of late and I think he should start getting a bit more involved again like he did last march.
we will be reeet stop worrying-

We have seen some fantastic games and some amazing results against the top 4 that we certainly didnt get with Bruce and Jewell.
His teams are inconsistent and drive us all up the wall at times but you cannot argue with his loyalty and comittment to Latics. The improvement will come and we will defy the odds once again.
Easily three worse teams than us this year and i am confident we will survive this year and improve the points tally as usual.
Go on then, name 3 worse teams than us? I’m not seeing it, myself.

Going off our current average, I predict we will end up with around 35 points.
Chill out. Things will be ok, we will still have a club to watch, still have the craic, still have a pint and still be able to put a football coupon on on a Saturday, and hope that our day pans out ok. I return to the uk after living abroad for 6 years next summer. And will get to go and watch my hometown team whatever league they are in. Maybe the prem, maybe the championship. Whichever league it is you will still scream ‘get in’ when we score a goal.

What will be will be, bob or not bob it doesn’t matter. People are trying, it just isn’t going well. Would you have been happy losing at spurs, and beating Norwich for the same net result? It ain’t over yet by a long way. If you keep telling someone they are Sh1te eventually they start to believe it, performances drop off because they expect to be sh1tr, and motivation spirals downward. Performance = motivation x opportunity x reward. As can be seen by this, it’s not a fantastic opportunity for a player to play for Wigan fighting relegation each year, and the reward we offer is nowhere near what others can offer. So we need to increase motivation to get the performance we want, it’s a straight multiplier, and is the only thing the fans can affect from the above. This works in any walk of life. So lets discuss bob and his time here in the negative sense once he has moved on

be it now, next season, 5 seasons.

My take on all of this is a positive one.
Martinez teams are inconsistent but amazingly he has bettered the previous total points tally in each of his three seasons since he came here.
Why should this season be any different?
By the time we get to january we will have most of the injured players back and maybe one or two new signings and the other clubs like West Brom, Norwich and Swansea will be wallowing in the ‘were safe’mode and start to slip a bit.We will start to get more positive results as we have we have always done under this manager although they wont be where we expect them as always!
Looking forward to the Arsenal game!!!!

Unbelievable egg mon that mons from Northampton I presume supports Saints an allegience to Liverpool and is defending MK Dons the mon is dazed and confused

though it w very moving to see all those Wimbledon supporters celebrating the goal with real passion on Sunday.Proves to all these clubs (ours excluded) ripping supporters off that without us there won’t be a game and few overpaid cr@p players need to realise this also.

The joke is every time we have a free kick in a good position, It ends up closer to our goal,

Thougt we played well and they had a very lucky night which we will surely get at some point.Plenty of spirit and effort and but one of the worst decisions this season in my opinion and one that spoiled the game for the supporters who paid at the gate and the tv viewers alike.
.QPR is the big one and I’m sure the Latics players will be well fired up for that one now.

Lets keep the momentum going, and heap misery on the chasing pack. It won’t be easy down there, but this team is built for the fight.

I see a win for Latics!

They must have scouted him and kept it quiet which is how to do it and it shows there are some good hungry players to be had in the transfer market.
watch some talentless arrogant manager who couldnt scout a penny under the couch with money somewhere come and poach him off them.
