I will go for 13 points from that lot.. :S RM manager of the month..Happy Xmas .E2 singing where all going on a European tour..DW telling everyone how good RW is..Full house against Manure..Darksiders extinct.. :woohoo:
given today’s results and recent form (WHU, Swans, Stoke), we’re going to need your 13 points, to get back in touch with the pack (DW aspirations of top 10/12 finish) ! All 3 on a roll, worst luck.
QPR next up (H) – tricky !
Newcastle win
QPR win
Norwich draw
Arsenal draw
Everton defeat
Aston Villa win
To be fair I think we may have our purple patch now akin to the end of last season. This is easily the best Latics team since the 2005-06 season and I feel 14 points so far is a tad disappointing but I think we will have a great month.
Kone with one goal in the last seven games is hardly setting the World alight and so why not give The Argentinian a start. Who knows the two Argentinians may forge a good partnership together ! I think Kone gets the nod because of his strength and ability to hold the ball but for me he is a little capricious and his tracking back has started to wain a little also, perhaps getting a little complacent like others eh !!Would play Kone in his overcoat. His link up play is outstanding and he is lightning quick.A much better player than Moses in my opinion and I am convinced his luck will change and the goals will start to flow. also is unselfish and never gives the ball away something you could never attribute to Moses when he was here.
Hi, I’ve written an article which is a neutral observer’s view of Wigan Athletic. It can be viewed at http://www.mcnamara-sport.tumblr.com Not a shameless plug for my site…just interested in any thoughts.excellent article
QPR are going down regardless
That may be the case…..but I wish he hadn’t gone there BEFORE they play us in December.
I actually think they’ve not got a bad squad. Hughes spent £25 million, but brought in over 15 players. And some are quality players who haven’t gelled get as a team. Cisse? Goals in him. Hoillett? Decent player. Mbia? Decent for Marseille. Had some problems with Zamora and Johnson out injured. Theres a decent squad there for Redknapp to work with. I’m not surprised he fancied the job.
I actually like Redknapp. Guy’s never done anything bad against Wigan Athletic, so why dislike him? I like his wheeler-dealer ways. It’s like me on ‘Football Manager’ games.
He tooknWilson Palaceous from us 4 years ago and annoyed me greatly at the time. They have5 points from 13 games and they need at least 33 points from their remaining 25 games.
I know we did it last season but our position after 14 games wasn’t as bad as theirs is at the moment.I know people shouldn’t boo but the game was petering out towards half time and Reading were on top at that point.
If you pay entry then you are entitled to vent your spleen if you like in my opinion. That said I agree with you the performance didn’t warrant the boos But give me supporters who care any day than some of the miserable g/ts who sit near me who don’t speak or cheer and look disdainfully at people swear or shout during the game.Agree with all of that. As for the last bit, I used to sit in west stand too. ;)
Actually the east stand Es3 trio of miseries who sit behind . faces like thunder ,never speak or cheer and look daggers at anyone who swears or shouts.QPR are going down regardless

It had the feel of a grim afternoon in every sense but they did us proud with the character shown in the second half.Home win

Just driven along Chorley rd and passed a group of about ten of them riding two and three abreast. No hand signals and wearing very low visability clothing and a complete disregard of the fact that this is a very dangerous country lane with a national speed limit.Thick is not the word!
Though Watson faded badly, started brightly but he slows play down too much when sometimes we need a quick counter attack. Never rated Di Santo, his scoring record doesn’t justify his want for an improved contract and having got Kone ( who was great again today ) for 4 mill, we should sell as he was dreadful again today. Stam was great when he came on, would like to see Miyachi given a run on the right thoughI agree he should throw Miyachi in as we seemed to lack that bit of quality around the 12 yard box. They are in red hot form though and we ran a very very good side very close yesterday.Kone is a fantastic player and Martinez did really well bringing him in for that amount of money.
It’s saying something about how dangerous cycling is when people like Bradley Wiggins get thrown off his bike. Why oh why do they cycle in conditions that aren’t safe? The roads are far too narrow and dangerous to support the amount of cyclists cluttering up the roads at present.
I saw a group tonight in the pouring rain without viz wear or lights and dicing with death as cars and hgvs sped past them. They are an almighty pain in the @rse(no pun intended) and the sooner this unsafe mid life crisis craze passes the better.Have a look at the ‘Bradley Wiggins…..F*ck off!’ thread on mudhutsmedia Vince, I think it’s in the question of sport section. You’ll find some like minded views mate, mine included!
Just read them John very very funny and so true.
I thought the cycling plebs would disappear when the winter set in but i saw one on his push rod last night in monsoon weather-why dont they go away ?Took my then four old son to his first game against Darlington in 93-94 season.Family battle with them all trying to get him to watch Wigan RL with kits and rugby balls bought for him.
