Shit defending. Why not just take it to extra time with a minute to go,n then go for them as they tire.
Leave it tidy Simmpool ! Me and the Mrs get on for a fortnight on the 16th (Venice)
Why?.
Do you not get on for the rest of the year ;)Forgive me if I’m wrong here , but we had 5 so called forwards on the books this season gone
Waghorn
Powell (played up front)
Fatty at Villa
Maynard
FortuneBut don’t include Holt as he’s gone all together, wouldn’t have scored many if he had stayed..
I disagree, if Holt had played in 49 games as Fortune has I honestly think he would have managed more than 5 goals.
He may not have been the 25 goal a season striker we need, but he is a striker and knows where the net is unlike Fortune etc.
Holt not what we have needed at all.Lazy,no workrate, hardly won a header, unfit(even Lambert has said so at Villa),unlike Fortune(i’ll give you the headers}.Not a Rosler type of player.Nor mine, not that, that means a lot.As for would have scored a lot in 49 games,he scored 2 in 16 while here.
I don’t want a centre forward with a fantastic workrate, I want him in the box knocking the the ball in the net.
BTW, fortune scored his first goal in his 16th match and his last goal 19 matches ago.So I suppose he was quite prolific for the 14 match period in between.
As for Holt, 2 in 16 is a better ratio than 5 in 49 so I was right afterall.
Yes by 1 goal extra if he had kept his ratio up. 2 in 16,4 in 32,6 in 48.That would have made one hell of a difference.

Go,Ramis
Boozyjoe
Holt(if anybody will have him)
Habsi
Gomez
Can’t really see anyone else going except fringe players who have not played a lot.
Or players who get big or good offers from other clubs and Whelan grabs the money.Forgive me if I’m wrong here , but we had 5 so called forwards on the books this season gone

FortuneYes but look at their goal scoring records.
But don’t include Holt as he’s gone all together, wouldn’t have scored many if he had stayed..
Powell is not a forward.Waghorn 178 games including England u19 and u21(31 goals)
Maynard 225 games (84)
Fortune 422 games (89)
Not really a prolific bunch are they.If the FL and ref, said you can go straight to penalties on monday, would you snatch their hands off,or play the match through.
After watching us fridsy i would go to pens, looks like we wouldn’t have scored if we played till midnight. No goal scoring threat at all, been like that all season.
My pen takers,
1 Gomez
2 Maloney
3 Mcarthur
4 Maynard/Waghorn
5 Whoever of the two hasn’t taken 4No, I wouldn’t. I think we are well in with a chance to win.
As for winning on pens – did you go to Wembley?
Yes i did.We hit the target with all of them, keeper just guessed right.
Bad order selection for me.Just stick with your best taker first
Having said that i was also at the Bradford game to.
But we did beat Leeds in one.
Oh eck,i dunno.Team for Millwall
Carson
Perch Kiernan Barnett Crainey
Tunnicliffe
McEachran Collison
McManaman McClean
MaynardTeam v Arsenal
Habsi
Boyce Ramis Barnett
Perch Beausajour
Gomez McCarthur
McManaman Waghorn
PowellFrom what I remember last year, buying them over the net didn’t let you select a seat as such. I rang up and got exactly where I wanted, so I’ll do the same Monday.
Do you think they’ll let me buy 2 adults plus a concessions on one ST?That will deffo be no.Itried for Bolton tickets, had 2 season tickets wanted a third for child but they said no.So for semi can’t see it.
Whats craic with a little un (3yo) need a ticket do you think?booked in at Brentford locks holiday inn for a couple of nights, its alright round there
You would have to get a concessions ticket.
I think that supply will exceed demand. In that case, everybody should be able to get the number of tickets they want.
Last year, season ticket holders were allowed three each initially.
Yes but its getting the seats/price they want. Will people not go because they will not get the cheap seats they wanted and not willing to pay dearer?
Season ticket holders could buy three tickets last year.I’ll ask for two this year.
Am I allowed to buy another when they go on general sale?
Yes,i got 2 Bolton tickets with season tickets, then got another on general sale.
I went down at half 8 this morning and there were only 6 people there. By the time i left there were about 50 or so. I believe weve been given about 4500,2500 in the lower and 2000 in the upper. The upper will go on sale if and when the lower sells out.Got mine tonight on way home, row B top tier, girl said they had only just begun selling the top tier.
Pellegrini is not happy,he must have heard something,he is saying our game against them is going to be sunday 4pm k.o.Three days before they play Barcelona.
Just been talking to someone who works at Wigan infirmary, they saw Watson being wheeled from xray on a trolley,he is on Orrell ward, has broke his leg.Being taken to Liverpool hospital they think, why i don’t know nor did they.Awful news for Ben and Latics.
Judging by the crack I heard last night, I think that is the single most unsurprising piece of news I have heard in my entire adult life. ;)
He’s probably being moved to Liverpool away from prying eyes and keyboards.
So you have xray eyes and saw it was a break straight away.Wow I know you think your God but don’t think anyone knew until scans etc.Not prying eyes just passing him by,he unlike you was very pleasant.
Also he is going to a place in Liverpool called Shaw,a private one,so no one can get at him because Griff says so.
I think it was pretty obvious it was a leg break considering the noise, his reaction and the reaction of the players
Yes I get that, but no one knew for sure.I was only passing information to you all on this board, what I had been informed by someone very reliable.Isn’t this what this forum is all about?.
Griff probably knew it was a double fracture when he saw it.So no need to tell him on here. -
