Think it is probably best if we say a Villa win, Worst case scenario and all that so if its a draw or Sunderland win its happy days and then it REALLY IS in our own hands.

Why I sat through that whole match I don’t know. To quote the Telegraph’s preview of the game, it was like two bald men fighting over a comb.

Cracking. The replies are even better

You have to go some to beat Griff’s 5 for friday quote about Suarez though.

Could eat an apple through a post box

Amazing that in one of the most if not the most important periods in our Premier League history the same tired faces feel the need to take one line out of context and put a negative spin on what is a fair comment by a manager who has been loyal to the Wigan Athletic cause to no end.

We have already qualified for Europe, we are potentially 90 minutes away from winning the FA Cup and we are by absolutely no means relegated and have everything left to play for.

I feel sorry for people who cant get behind their team in such a situation.

    Out of context? No

But i was expecting you to jump on this thread anyway, You know, Being the most obnoxious person on the board. You can’t wait to have a dig. Why don’t you just be yourself and stop trying to impress other people.

It’s taken you long enough to fathom that out ;) After he says every year that he’s been here, that he isn’t bothered about the results it’s the performance that matters. That’s why we are in this position yet again :(

It’s the other way round really – it’s because we are in this position that he says that.

We are still fighting, and it’s on to West Brom.
Correct, I despair at how thick some of our fans are.
Everyone is thick to you though Griff. If people don’t see things you way then they are either wrong or thick.

The statement is stupid whichever way you look at it. It is extremely negative from Bob that.

Thty, Yes i picked out one line from a few paragraphs because it was the one that stuck out. That was the important one.

And Wigmon, He is intelligent, But you don’t need to ask him to know that.

Larry LLoyd. If you went past him you were sure to end up in a heap with studs up your arse.

Get yourself down their you tight git

You have walked straight into this one ;) ;)

    in reply to: Alcaraz #110798

Pointless what any of us think really though if we are honest.

It will be Figgy, Caldwell and Scharner and make no mistake about it.

If the pitch is wet then Scharner and Caldwell are for it. We need a confident performance of gigantic proportions. We did it at White Hart Lane and now it’s up to Bob to instill the confidence and i think he will use that victory as a starter.

that 2hat should be kicked out of english football not a place for cheats and animals

AHEM, Alcaraz shouldn’t even be wearing a Latics top after last seasons escapade at Wolves.

Just think you are looking to be controversial :silly:

You thinking? Do me a favour, Tony.

I’m having a very sensible discussion with Mr Brownbill here. We don’t actually have to agree, or do you still not get what a forum is all about? Other than labelling him a darksider, there have been no insuilts or name calling going on. So, if – as I suspect – you have nothing intelligent to add, why don’t you go and play with some crayons?
I used to melt mine on the radiator.

Got some felt tips last week so i don’t do it any more.

… people already using today’s result as justification for not going to Wembley.

Tight-arsed twats! You won’t be missed.

Nothing to do with being as you say “a tight-arsed twat” Maybe they aren’t gluttons for punishment. Bottled it today, clueless up front AGAIN. Relegation is a certainty.
So you’ll decide not to go to the club’s first (and probably) last FA Cup final based on one poor result (note, not poor performance)?

I’ll say it again, tight-arsed wankers, and again, you’ll not be missed, whatever reason yo to try to dream up for not spending the money.
Did i say i won’t be going to the final?? THEY THEY THEY, read it again you fool. Not ME ME ME. Good god man. I’m still going, the hotel is booked toooooooo.
I know it wasn’t you, and less of the fool, gobshite ;)

But you were defending the tight-arses position
Tight, Cant, Wont, Not possible. Its all relative Griff.

    You been on the pop?

Some people can’t go for various reasons.

I do agree though, Using today’s result as an excuse is piss poor. We should have beaten West Ham, They are shit, But if they are as shit as i think they are why did they beat us with relative ease?

    Im a bit worried now

in reply to: Smashed up coach #110020
Ok Griff, here`s what my lad told me (he wouldn`t lie to me I`m certain of that)

Apparently there was a ceiling light cracked on the coach, a lot of the lads were asked to chip in a couple of quid for the cost which they did (my son didn`t need to do this as he was at the front and the light was done at the back). This was before the game I think. He said that when they got back to the coach after the game a few Millwall were launching bricks at it. The driver told the passengers he was not taking them home. Now if they paid up like they said they did surely there shouldn`t have been a problem. That`s all I heard.

And my reply to Dave was. How can he take the moral high ground about a bunch of kids when hes in his 30s threatening people on forums with baseball bats ?

I don’t know your son (to my knowledge) and i acknowledge that you trust him but as said elsewhere, We were all as nice as shite to our parents and told them porkies in order to avoid trouble. But i don’t think i need to tell you that :P

I agree with dave to a point. Whilst i agree that kids (young men) at football matches are mostly well behaved there is a minority that are arseholes, In general life its the majority of kids (young men) that are arseholes and a minority that are ok.

in reply to: FA Cup Final kit – anyone know……… #110017
If the special edition is for sale for replica shirts.

I’ve seen the black kit with date and FA cup final around the badge.

I’m only asking as its my little boys birthday on the 11th and would like to get him one.

    Cheers for any info

Wait until it’s confirmed what colour we will be in. When we played at Cardiff we sold both the blue one and the yellow one in special edition. I know because i have them both. :P ;)
