Really poor that. Ill-disciplined, one dimensional and extremely predictable. Warning signs are there now.

Yaaaaaaawn, how predictably boring that rugby threads would pop up.

    Get a social life

Not football related, The one that annoys me the most is.

“And he/she turned around and said”

Insinuating that someone span around and then proclaimed what it is they said.

If a player isn’t pulling their weight then the fans have every right to get on their backs. Jordi has rarely pulled his for a few years and thus has grown an army of critics who are slightly harsh at times.

He’s a good player but he’s incredibly frustrating to watch.

Yes, but Wiganers only seem to like those who run about like headless chickens, regardless of whether they’re any good or not.
Even better than that,Ivan Ramis scored his first for us tonight…………………..Against Wet Spam, ooooh the joy.

I’m a firm believer that anyone who routinely slags off Gomez knows nothing about football. Not because Gomez is a brilliant footballer – not for one minute do I think he is – but because he is an easy target and bandwagon that those who can’t think up their own opinion can easily jump upon knowing that there will be a large number of equally uninformed people who will not disagree with them.

But in terms of any other midfielder this season he has been no worse than any of them. I would put him in the middle with McArthur but encourage him to go forward. If he could combine attacking with quick passing he would be leathal. Always in the wrong position for me. There is no player i can ever think of (bar Solskjaer) who has ever made a career of being a bench warmer. That doesn’t include keepers. He could do with a run of games. He is dangerous on set pieces alone and has proved he is worth about 9-12 points on his own. If only he could merge it with open play.

That is just football in general, It has declined like mad the last ten years. It has become repetitive, boring and a cash chasm for agents. Its ruined. No way back unless you like watching lower or non league footy im afraid.

    in reply to: Beausejour #93584

What is the point of him? Winger? Don’t make me laugh!

Gary Teale was like Garrincha, compared to him.

He is absolutely god awful. Can’t beat a full-back, and when he does have chance to play a ball in, his delivery is awful.

Does anybody else see this? Why can’t Martinez see it?

Decent passage of play and good ball into to Gomez (bar -first half).

Cleared one off the line from under Rodallega’s nose in 1st

Never has had pace in abundance. But can pick out a decent pass.

Impact of his absence on team dynamics was evident against Stoke when he went off after first 20 …
Please don’s say that word, It doesn’t make any sense and is meaningless in football terms. :) :) :) :) B) :P

in reply to: Over reaction #93583

Said it on another post. I am expecting a big reaction at Slumberland. Not really too arsed about the West Ham match, I know Martinez isn’t and neither will fat Sam be. I think Martinez has just proved to himself that certain members are not up to the job and i suspect that yesterday was probably last chance saloon for a few of them. I wouldn’t expect Watson anywhere near the league first team again. Hope not anyway. He got shut of Thomas and did the same with him. But he is probably the worst player i have seen in a Latics shirt(and yes i have been watching since 93 so it is justified)

in reply to: we never learn do we #93547

Bicky now am sure you are a wind up. i always thought it but now you have confirmed it. We aren’t expected to do anything apart from avoid relegation again this year and i have learned from last season especially that it is a very looooooong season. Let’s not write them off just yet eh! Things are bound to change.

granted, yes it was poor and i agree Watson is a very very poor player we will improve. Plenty of winnable games cropping up. There is no way i would write them off yet.

On a personal view. Our defense is just way too slow. You don’t get the time to pass it around in this league. That is the only thing that needs looking at on a critical view. It’s obvious for all to see. Against teams like Wet Spam it should be ok but they are the games we MUST be taking points out of if that is the way we are going to play. Fulham are no push-overs and Martin Jol certainly isn’t.

I am expecting a reaction in the next game.

in reply to: My view on today’s game #93221

Nice to see you are tang an interest in my private life yes ii did go on my own as the kids weren’t we’ll so three tickets were wasted did you go mate

    A tang?

No mate, I didn’t go. But I never was going. Neither did you, did you? Hope the kids are ok.
In the words of Roger Daltrey ‘The kids are alright’

A tang is part of a wood chisel griff, and our friend Sudworth is a few chisels short of a set.

Nearest Sudworth will get to old Trafford this year is when the worriers get knocked out in the elimination, 1st chance 2 to go, play off, only joking have another go semi final thing.
The fact that he has kids has yet to be confirmed, he doesn’t know his arse from his elbow, I doubt he could find his own cock with both hands, never mind persuade a female of any description to let him touch her with it. His missus probably got pregnant from licking windows, them kids could be anybody’s.
Now John we know where the stuff has to go to get babies and it aint by licking. If she did indeed get it from off the window i will pay good money to see a video of it. ;)
