Looks like the goal conceding virus has checked in at Goodison.
Well the first was a brilliant 25 yarder from Cabaye and the second was after 88 minutes.
Other than that Everton controlled the game. Pardew made changes at half time that improved their performance but they looked poor in comparison to Everton.
I’ve been impressed with Martinez so far.
Just shows what you can achieve with better players and more importantly a decent defense !!
Indeed we need a striker. We have only had since June to do this! How about giving up any hope of a quick promotion this season and concentrating on the two cups. Lets get a proper manager in like we should have done in the summer and please Dave give him a couple of bob to sign players and not just journey men.Well to be fair to Coyle he did sign 2 strikers. You can’t legislate for them both being injured at the same time.
However both have failed to impress me from what I’ve seen of them so far.
Fortune doesn’t seem to have 90 minutes in him and Holt seems far too bulky.
We’re also missing Maloney badly.
There have been too many changes as well.The team can’t settle into a pattern of play and get used to each other.It’s right at the start of the season so you can’t use tiredness as an excuse at this stage.
Decide on a settled side and stick with it would be my choice ;)
Well I’ll be supporting The Warriors next Saturday.
As a Wiganer I’ll always support them despite what may or may not have happened the past.

Have to agree there.
Henry is by a long way the best player I’ve seen at the DW/JJB in the 8 years we were in the PL.
That 3-2 defeat to Arsenal in 2005 was a great game even though we lost but Henry’s performance was amazing.Remember that free kick?
However another memorable moment was Jimmy Bullards turn leaving Sol Campbell sliding by on his arse before he curled the ball into the net to make it 3-2.
As for Ronaldo my favourite moment was Ajen DeZeeuw booting him up in the air after 30 seconds of the Monday night game the week after the Carling Cup final. :P
