And got shut of by Liverpool and West Brom. :(

Wasn’t he also the goalie who made the howler against Croatia when England failed to qualify for the Euro’s.

Yes they all make mistakes – but he makes too many.

What a shame Whelan didn’t hang fire before appointing Coyle, Poyet would have been a great appointment. :(

    Good luck with that.

Most these days are more like wingers who try and defend a bit.

Let’s be honest we didn’t miss him when he got injured.

He made a lot of mistakes and his positional play wasn’t great at times.

However he was pretty good going forward and as for that goal at Stoke ……..

At least Coyle shows some touchline passion unlike Rob and his finger puppetry .

I thought Bobby was quite studious on the touchline, his brain analysing the game like a computer.

Trouble is most of the time he was operating on MS DOS and the opposition were operating on Windows 8 !! ;)

He obviously upgraded to 8 for the FA Cup Final. :)

Is it too much to hope that the new manager can persuade everyone to stay?

Whelan must realise that for us to have a realistic chance of bouncing back up we need to retain all of these players.

Or am I just being a “fecking prat(t)” again ????

There are clearly some proper old bastards on this thread. Can’t wait to get to your age

After reading that book of yours I wouldn’t be making any long term plans, if you manage to avoid liver failure the lovely Helen will surely one day inflict serious damage to you for all your conniving and deceit.
You have a point, LMB ;)
