Why should your mrs have any entitlement to a ticket just because she is married to a season ticket holder ?

I look at it the other way round. ST holders want to be able to take a guest.

The club does plenty of ticket offers during the season for non ST holders eg £30 for Newcastle/Norwich games.

A great occasion like the Cup Final the club should first and foremost reward it’s most loyal followers ie ST holders IMHO.
Can I ask you how many games your wife goes to ?

Then answer me this, my kids have a 17 year old friend, he is a college student, his parents are not latics or even football fans, and I know they are living on a shoestring at the moment, well this young lad has a part time job at a fast food outlet when he’s not at school, he uses all his spare cash on buying tickets to watch WAFC, we get tickets for him as well when there are offers.

He could not go to the game on Saturday because he could not afford to do that one and the final as well, so he took the gamble to stay home, we even offered to buy him a ticket, but he chose to work a double shift so he could afford to pay his own way to the final, he has missed one home game this season including all the cup games, he has also been to all the away cup games including Forest and West Ham in the league cup.

Now can you tell me honestly who deserves an FA cup final ticket more, him or your wife, and there are many more latics fans like this kid who dont know if they will get a ticket or not.
It staggers me that some clowns will pay £50.00 for a ticket then drink so much they can’t last 45 minutes without going for a slash !!

One bunch on the row in front of us went at least 3 times in the first half.

One idiot kicked off with my mate who was sat on the same row with his 15 year old daughter and his Dad. He actually stopped in front of my mate and started chatting to one of his.

My mate asked him to shift and he took offense.

A complete dickhead.Luckily it was all verbals.

One woman in the next block was almost in tears as we scored the 2nd while she was on the bog !!

    Stupid !! :(

Joking apart though they were an absolute disgrace.

Just shows what bad losers they are.

I hope Pardew is really proud tonight.

Oh and Di Canio showed Fergie how to celebrate as a manager when your team scores a goal !! :) :) :)

Did anyone else get caught up in the massive crowd of Millwall fans going down wembley way after the game?

We went bay coach which stopped at the Blackbird inn about 20 mins walk from Wembley.

We needed to go back down Wembley way and up the steps to the main road and bear right. The police had blocked these steps off and instead we were Shepherded into Wembley Park Tube Station. They were chanting all sorts of songs and we quickly had to tuck our caps and scarves away, it was frightening. The police kept the crowd for about 15 mins in the subway before letting the fans run up the steps to the station.

We got in the station and sneaked out of an exit to the main road. :woohoo:

We got stuck in that queue as well.None of us were wearing any colours though.

When we got to the steps at the side of the tunnel into the station my Mrs blagged our way through the side gate explaining our 16 year old was about to faint.Kirsty played her part brilliantly and they let us up the steps onto the main road. :cheer:

It was scary though. One cavemen in front of us boasting how he’d “t**t” any Wigan scum he could find !!

If they park the bus as QPR did on Sunday or like Bournemouth and Bradford did at the DW, we may struggle to break them down and get caught on the break. Thats my fear.

We’ll have loads of posession I’m sure of that but we’ll need to make it count.

Most of our attacks come down the left and unfortunately in Beaujesour we have the only wide player in the PL who can’t beat a man.I think the only decent cross from that side last Sunday was from Gomez when he got wide.

We need an early goal to make them open up.

Then we can exploit the space and beat them easily.

I’m on Mastermind next week. Specialist subject – The Bleeding Obvious !! ;)

Said on Granada Reports that we’ve returned 10,000,So if we’ve sold 20,000 I think that’s fantastic considering the opposition and kick off time.

    Can’t wait personally. :cheer:

    Right that’ll be another thread I’ve killed !! ;)

Todays daily star gives McCarthy as man of the match and rates him a 9.

Yet some of you are slating him on here.

His passing in the first half in particular was awful.Gomez was in crab mode but he didn’t give the ball away as much as young James did.

I felt sorry for him getting booed though – all he did was get his head kicked in.

Mind you at least it was the away fans that were booing this week !! ;)
