I think we should all boycot ESPN for a narrow minded view of the premier league. !
Why ? I dont give a flying fook how many times we are on the box,as for wet spam dont watch it,easy :PExactly Papa…
…..however, what is getting on peoples paps is the amount of TV money that they will receive for these 7 showings. The cynic inside me says this is a ‘fix’ and the extra cash can be used to influence ‘extra’ dealings in the next transfer window…….if only to grease palms.
GL…can you let Jason know that his article says next game is 28 December – should read November.
As for the cheaters, as mentioned above, it would be really sweet should they only manage 1 win out of those opening games – public humiliation.
Oh what a dream that would be.
Do you mean Beckham the tax exile
Didnt exactly see Pearce flying all over the world campaigning for the games to come to London no that would have been Beckham anyway I was behind the goals when he netted against Greece so he still is in credit as far as im concerned
Should we pick Borris Johnson in goals then as he flew all over the world to get the games?
Cracking idea!!
And David Cameron up front with Nick Clegg playing just behind him …
Don’t be so f£ckin’ stupid you lot……..
………they’re Rugby League players. B)
He could score a Basket full of goals if he stays next season
Most people on here won’t get that as they can’t reed between the lines.
I tend to agree…some people are just a bit dim and don’t get it – but if they don’t want to join in then that’s just pharaoh nuff.
just a word i heard about chow
number 17 chow main player ;)I think you’ll find that’s just Chinese whispers Bicky…
;)
Is this site advertising match day hospitality at Man Utd?
For some reason it also advertises mingin’ women :woohoo:
Not everybody will get the same adverts and on occasion the adverts are actually tailored to your own surfing habits (especially if you are still logged into Google)
Google will obviously deliver ads related to football and occasionally plumbers in Wigan.
Hmmmmm……looks like I’ll have to have a word with Mrs Micky to explain why I’m constantly getting ’50 Shades of Grey’ book ads everywhere.
;)
Anything else on this young man!Nope……..just lightly batter him and serve him with the above.
Looks like he isn’t going anywhereIt would appear that your influence….particularly on this board (and the other) has been vindicated.
renewed my ticket yesterday but swapped from east to west stand, can any weststanders tell me what its like particularly atmosphere wise ?The Springfield Stand is a peculiar place. There are a lot of ‘Springfield Parkers’……and ‘Runners’ (too old to do so now). Minds of 20 year olds…… who used to twist, spin and drop on the dance floor – who can only dream, now, of what used to be. Tut tutting (in a loud voice) is accepted, however, stupid, unqualified comments about the past, the players, the manager, DW (himself), Jordi, formation, player selection or knowing better than us is unacceptable. Contrary to popular belief there is a lot of shouting, chanting and swearing (it’s just that the East youth cannot hear it over the drum ;) ).
It is not acceptable to….leave before the end of the game; regardless of the feckin traffic, eat mints without sharing, suck teeth in a loud way, stare at your fellow supporters (they may not know you), clap without gloves on (it may be too loud).
Apart from that….get a place in the ‘comfy seats’ at the top and enjoy the season.
16 million…. lets hope so !! sell sell sell !!I’d risk giving that Pirlo mon a six month deal to proove himself.
He would only perpetuate the Martinez tippy tappy style, we need someone to put his foot through those long punts.
Martinez would be quite ‘stern’ if anyone suggested that to him and I suspect that he wouldn’t ‘bow’ to any pressure to change his tactics. He is currently a pundit at the Euros and he has watched the ‘poles’ play the punt to no great effect.
He would relish the idea of playing for us in the Premier league.
point i was making its not just english in the prem league
but also welsh which i have no problem with
and so why should rangers not be allowed in i think it would be great
but not the irish wannabe celticWhy not the Irish wannabe celtic?
Just humouring you like…………
why did we have a left back taking a penalty before a 35 million pound striker ?
A question I’ve asked myself especially after the interview before the game when he was asked about scoring for England. To which he replyed I would think never, not great if he had already volunteered to take a penalty if needs be.
Mind you after his attempt I’d say never was spot on :(
To be fair, I don’t think that being a striker necessarily makes you a better penalty taker than a left back
Leighton Baines was Latics penalty taker for a while when he was here & doesn’t he take Everton’s now. Latics 3 penalty takers are either defensive or attacking midfielders & Latics most famous penalty was taken by an ageing centre half
I’m presuming that as we read & heard the England team had been practising penalties every day in training that the 4 who stepped up on Sunday & whoever the 5th one would have been were the 5 on the pitch at that time who had the best record in training. Mind you we also heard that Joe Hart had watched all the Italian players penalties for the last few years & I think he got near 1 of them – I think I much prefer Buffon’s porn method of penalty preparation
I think you’ll find also that when asked during a TV interview, Joe Hart said that he would be more than happy to take a penalty if it came to it – I’ve seen many a goalkeeper take one over the years.
I’m sorry but I hate the man with a vengeance and IMHO he should never have been handed the “poison chalice”.
Harry Redknap would have at least had a go at Italy and I for one would have been happy to lose 3-2 having a real go.I’m afraid the FA have appointed a yes man and a multi linguist, big ticks in the FA’s job spec for the Englands managers job, great, great attributes for the head of our national team.
What a load of fekin bollux from start to finish!!.Yes……this is the man we all want in charge of our National Team:
…..a true ambassador for England and the FA.
