For someone who isn’t a manager or a player, words can’t describe how much I hate that Gary Cooke, he is an embarrassment of the highest order, if he was at our club, I’d almost be tempted to watch that lot in Horwich.
City the biggest team in the world, not a chance, there are at least 5 clubs in England alone bigger than them
Must be further if you’re going from John O Groats or Fort William….
Midweek games are fine by me…bring em on, I cant do Saturdays at the mo, so midweek and Sunday games are excellent, the more the merrier.
In that Bury game, did Leonard actually score that goal? I’m sure it didnt go in. The other memory of that game was Neil Rimmer placing a perfect chip over the keeper from something like 30 yards, only too see the ball hit a puddle and stop dead…keeper just turned round and picked it up out of the mud.
Someone should ask him about the 2 penalties Villa should have had in the first leg, with a decent ref that tie would have been over after 30 minutes at Ewood.
He’s the English version of Nani, a very average winger who has somehow managed to convince people he’s a top player and got himself a move to a very good club.
Well said Owd_Git, there wont be a more sensible post on here all year.
He’ll never get a permanent move there….can you imagine him and Brown getting on?
We didnt look like scoring other than N’Zogbia’s goal…..better tell James McCarthy then, NatDan take your negativity elsewhere.
How can we be investigated for this and WHU get away with calling a game off for H&S of supporters when on the day of the game there was no snow anywhere near the ground?
Of course the fact that WHU had no strikers fit for the game may have had some bearing on the “incorrect forecast” for London.
12 January 2010 at 1:14 am in reply to: Latics attendances given another slant by the Daily Mail #17926You’ve not seen the final games for 15 years!! How can anyone who’s obviously watched us climb the leagues chose to miss the opportunity to watch us get promoted to the Premier League, I just find that bizzare. Presumably you’ve watched us all over the country and yet you miss the biggest game in our history….I would have crawled the length of the M6 to make that game.
I completly miss-read that….I read the original name as Cahill (even though I then typed Caldwell). Dont know anything about Caldwell
Caldwell for £1m would be an absolute steal, but as for Lua Lua and Elmander, I wouldnt pay £8 never mind £8m…they are both garbage of the highest order.
If ypu think wasting time chasing targets you’ve no chance of getting is a good way of spending time in the transfer window, then I think you need to get a grip. Stoke havent a cat in hells chance of getting Van Nistelrooy to go there.
I can’t see them saying it was broke if they were told to turn it off. If they have been told to switch it off as its non-essential, then just say so, that would be a perfectly acceptable reason for the game being off.
