TBH whenever I’ve seen Sinclair play he’s been disappointing, not had an impact that I thought he would on any of his appearances. Oh and JamesC, if you must insult one of your own players, at least have the decency to use his proper name instead of silly name calling to prove a point
So with the transfer window due to open in just over 3 weeks, you want us to replace Martinez, appoint a new manager and then expect said manager to assess the squad and to select and then make the right signings in the space of about 7 weeks….ok then. Just suppose we sack Martinez tomorrow, give the new man £15m and he spends it on a pile of s***e, what do you do then, sack him March?
Our main problem yesterday was a lack of fight in midfield, Brown and O’Hara (who I thought was excellent) completely bossed it, we were ok when we had the ball, passed it neatly, but we needed a Palacios out there to get stuck in and win the ball and allow us to play. The other main problem was N’Zogbia’s defending, he looked very uncomfortable going towards his own goal and his defending for the 3rd goal was schoolboy-like, I was right behind it at their end of the ground and it was atrocious.
All in all, a bad day at the office.
Those actors must be really famous eh if our world famous Scotland Yard can;t recognise em
…and in other shock, unheard news Paul Jewell today resigned as Wigan Athletic manager
I’m not sure the “Sky 4” would want Rangers & Celtic in the Premier, as it stands now they wouldnt get out of our Championship, but put them in the PL with all the money etc that comes with it and they’d be massive.
I would think that Celtic are probably the one club who in terms of crowds could match anything Man Utd could achieve, I reckon if they were in a big enough league and were successful, Celtic would easily get 90,000 a week watching them
Figueroa was the one player I thought Bruce would have signed from us when he left. However now, on his recent form, it wouldnt be a huge loss, I’d trust Roberto to find a decent replacement for him. Just hope if MF wants to go, we sell him for a decent price and make some of the money we lost after giving Cattermole away
I’m sure we can terminate his contract if he’s found guilty, I’d be interested to know though whether we could sue him for losing out on any potential transfer fee as I would think if he is found guilty he’s likely to recieve a prison sentence
To be fair, being an utter bell end hasn’t made a difference to FIFA’s top man, so it isnt going to bother Warner.
Haven’t checked the link, but presume it was action of Zaki before the end of October, as far as I’m aware, the season lasts 38 games not 10….don’t forget neither Bruce or anyone associated with Wigan Athletic knew where he was for a fair percentage of the other 28. You’re the bloke with a vendetta against Whelan, yet you want to see the man labelled “the most unprofessional I’ve ever worked with” by our ex-manager back??
*shakes head*
No way should we have Zaki back, yes he might be better than Scotland, but what use is that when he disappears and we can’t find him? Why anyone would want someone who disappeared 4 times in nine months back at our club is totally beyond me.
Now, now loudmouth, you know that even at £30 a ticket or whatever and a 400 mile round trip, the s***e would have taken 50,000….you’re not allowed to mention the following when critisising their support “semi final, 15 miles, empty seats, Warrington, St Helens”. Not forgetting the capacity crowd of 100,000 at the DW for their playoff game tonight, all those *loyal, wonderful fans who NEVER missed a game during the 90’s will be there I’ve no doubt.
*tongue firmly planted in cheek
While I’m certainly not a King fan (I think he’s an awful PL footballer), if I were him I’d be insulted that I’m supposed to be worse than Nugent….either you;ve never seen Nugent play in the Premier or know nothing about football, he’s woeful
Just goes to prove City aren’t a big club….only the beloved Sky teams get those decisions, same as Arsenal yesterday, fantastic going forward but helped by a ref who gave them everything while ignoring the diving of Eduardo and Van Persie (unless there was a sniper in our end of course)
