You absolute cap-end.
Nuff said!!!
Don’t like to crucify individual players. . . . But Edman was at fault for at least 6 of their goals. What the fook was he playing at??
For all those who’ve wanted him in instead of Figueora, I hope you’ve changed your minds today!!
Didn’t realise Whelan was playing??
Gobshoite!!
Scotland will not be good enough EVER!
I’m all for giving someone a chance, but come on fella, he’s simply not a Premier League player and never will be.
Really enjoyed the game, N’Zogbia was by far the best player on the park, (apart from that tw@t in their goal!!) Scharner had a good game too. But i’m afraid it’s the same old story. . . . Can’t get the 2nd killer goal. And with chubby up front I think we’ll always struggle to do so.
I also think Bobby cocked up with the substitution. Scharner should have been moved to centre back and Boyce to left back. To put N’Zogbia left back after roasting their full back all the game was madness!!
Overall though, thoroughly enjoyed a good footballing display from the lads. We’ll be fine with a decent striker!!
Don’t give up the day job fella….. Unless you work at Ladbrokes!!!
So there’s gonna be a lap-top in one of the seats at the DW on Sunday then??
That’s got to be a first!!! ;)
Not too sure who you’ve been watching Duke, but i’m pretty certain it isn’t the Mario Melchiot who plays right back for Wigan Athletic!!
Then again, it’s all about opinions, so fair play for putting yourself in the firing line!!!
Ps. I don’t agree with your statement by the way ;)
To make matters slightly more embarrassing for the pea-nut huggers, Castleford sold just short of 2,000 tickets for the game!!
Ps. mrlogic, you f00king retard!!!
17 September 2009 at 12:01 am in reply to: Who was the best header of a ball to play for the Tics? #8911jason De Vos, Alan Johnson and Colin Greenall were pretty good with their heads too.
My vote goes with Steve Walsh though.bobbygee & bobbyswigan, are you the same person??
Just wondering because you both type the same kind of utter shyte!!
Zaki showed exactly what type of player / person he is after October last season.
Similar Billy Big B0ll0x personality as a certain Mr Scharner. If he ever has the cheek to come back here and put a Wigan shirt on my season ticket goes in the nearest bin!!!!
So 5 years in The English Premier League and possibly being the only club in there without massive debt doesn’t count as success??
Carry on as you are Mr Whelan, these guys have obviously forgot where we have come from and who we are!!
I’ve never read as much absolute shoite in my life as i have done over the past week or so on here. We are 3 games into the season with a new manager and virtually new team for christ sake.
Did any of you really expect 9 points on the board by now??
Yeah, thought so!!!It’s going to take another 10 games or so until we start seeing what Roberto is trying to do i’m afraid. Hope some of you don’t have too many sharp objects kicking about at home!!!!
Indeed. . . . Amr Zaki. . . .
Scored a couple of wonder goals at the start of last season, some might call them lucky. (Liverpool & Hull)
Scored a couple of penalties which made his strike rate look quite impressive.
Went AWOL 4 times.
Kept falling over.
Was linked with Real Madrid & Liverpool amongst others (still makes me chuckle)
Showed utter disrespect for his manager & fans, who for some reason loved him (I was never one of them)
Had the worst body language you could possibly imagine when things didn’t go his way.
Ran around lots (aimlessly) usually to the wings (you’re a f00kin’ centre forward for f00k sake)Yeah, get him back!!
The average attendance in the season we were relegated (1992-93) was 2,593.
The lowest ever average since joining the football league was during the 1994-95 season when the average was 1,748.
So the facts show that we have never had an average of 1,200 over a full season.
Hope this stops just a little bit of the bickering on here. Every little helps!!!!
The Wolves 10-man back four will keep the score down, i’m ready for a frustrating 1-0 win.
