Every season ticket for the rugby received a free ticket for the first game hence the inflated crowd.
That’s what happens when you don’t play Maclean and Espinoza who have been our men in form in recent games. The boy from Chelsea changed the game last week and don’t get a kick either. Writings on wall with January signings. Maynard and Waghorn have played little football all season and can’t get in Cardiff and Leicesters squads. Why are we expecting them to halt our poor season in front goal? How many other teams would have Macmanaman on the bench? We will have to build for next season now. Afraid Roslers not got a clue on his best 11 and that’s showing week in, week out despite a few lucky wins.
This mon from Honduras will take some beating shortly and Maynard wont be far behind given I havent even noticed he’s been on the field so far. Paladino played in the league for sure as I remember him leaking 4 at Springfield Park.
You will find that one of them drops off from the forward line just off the midfield making it not a straight forward 442You will find they dont. I challenge you to watch Liverpool and suggest either one of those two drops into midfield. Im not suggesting we go to two up front but if we are creating so few chances and having two thirds of the ball its probably time to change the formation or players. Its obvious unless we sign a decent striker in this window theres little chance of the play offs. We are already playing for sixth. In our hearts most of us know Fortune aint quite up to it and this Maynard looks off the pace and overweight. Its the wrong time of the season to be giving players games to get em fit. Am sure Uwe will have a plan.
Am sure Sturridge and Suarez play as a 2 and didn’t Dzeko and Negredo play up front together at City recently? Bloody philistines!
Aye but United sold out your away end. Arsenal hardly brought any that night. Home fan average means there wouldn’t be much in it. You concern yourself with statistics and crowds an awful lot. What’s your obsession with a tinpot club like ours then? I’ll give you one stat. Sunderland last won a major trophy in 1973. Yes. That’s your right your massive club with all its legions of fanatics has not won a major trophy to approaching 41 years. I’ll bet you now that it gets to 50 and you still won’t beat our feat of winning the FA cup in the modern era. Jealousy is such an ugly trait Mutty old boy!
Seems like good business. Pay a good wedge to sign him. Play him for a few months. Watch him get injured start of last year for 9 months then once we have paid his wages to sit on his arse and he is fit again flog him!
You cant not patronise and offend eh? So im a thick tight Wiganner who cant add up then. I can take that from a smart arse know nowt bald failed author no problem. Point is I never complained about cost. Simply said I was entitled to my opinion after paying my money and making the effort to attend. Who the hell do I think we are? A team with one of the biggest budgets in the league playing a team with one of the smallest. If City lost 3-0 at Palace am sure a few fans would be disappointed. When we get a similar result we are expected to say ‘ah well, we are only little Wigan, what do you expect?’
Ok. Facts are Doncaster are ranked 41st in this country. We lost 3-0. Have we lost by three with our first eleven to any team below that in the last few years?
You make of it what you will with some wish fm mong. Ill say what I saw with my own eyes. Taking 3 kids and travelling 120 miles means it cost well over 50 quid (and I didnt travel over from Wigan rendering your tight Wiganner jibe useless).
No over reaction on my part. Simply stating the facts as I see them. Losing to a bottom 3 championship side 3-0 is undoubtedly one of the worst results in the last few years. I doubt you were there either. For those of us that watched 95 mins of that shite after paying 50 quid im sure you would agree we are welcome to our opinion.
So youre basing your opinion on hearsay and journalists. So losing 3-0 to Doncaster is a better result than losing by the odd goal to a team that has recently beaten Valencia on their own pitch and a team who finished second in Belgium. I give up! Believe me as a bloke who was at all 3. This was a bloody awful performance/result and am sure others who attended the aforementioned games will testify.
Ill give you Blackpool at home. How you can compare Palace, swindon and Wolves (all teams who have played top flight football recently) is beyond me. Swansea were seen last season as one of the best teams in the country on their day, Chelsea with a team worth 300 million and premiership champions then Zulte who finished second in the Belgian league to Anderlecht. That performance on Saturday was pathetic. Did you actually go?
Go on then. Last 3 years. Give me some worse defeats than a 3-0 against Championship relegation fodder?
We may play like an average championship side but our best starting eleven should be more than a match for anyone in this league.
Given the team that started against MK Dons im not sure tired legs are such an issue. The facts are three changes were made from a team that won 3-0 the week before. What did Perch, Macmanaman and Fortune do wrong? Fortune had his best game against Bournemouth, scored a cracker, had a shot deflected for the second, scored midweek and then gets replaced by a loan signing who aint started a game all season. I guess given previous results its hard to be too scathing of Uwe but undoubtedly losing 3-0 to Doncaster Rovers is the worst result for this club in several years.
Have just watched Holt play for Villa at Anfield and he looked a completely different player. Energetic, running the channels, showing great skill in the box. Just proves that he has beem jacking it off all season. If he can impress against one of the best 4 teams how can he struggle against MK Dons? Cheat.
