Aye. Few Preston fans gave it the big one, few Wigan lads waited at other side and despite being considerably outnumbered its fair to say Preston came off second best!
And for the last 15 games I would just play Gelhardt as whatever happens to develop his potential he needs to play games which he obviously has in abundance. Every time he gets ball he’s looking to have a go and creates urgency in our play. Has Robinson jacked it off now he hasn’t got his dream move? Model professional eh?
Derek. Nathan Burn played two tremendous crosses in second half and he also played a great ball across goal first half which nobody could connect with. Do you seriously see Moore as a championship standard striker. His touch is poor, he’s as slow as a gods horse and so far across the season his finishing is shite too. Lowes bloody awful and offers practically nothing so all in all is it any surprise Dunkley is our top scorer by a distance despite not playing much in recent games.
Good strikers make their own luck. Had loads of ball and doesn’t look dangerous. He’s at Wigan not Real Madrid. Too slow for this level.
Their players looked better to me. Pearson and Johnson different level to what we have. Nathan Burn put some great crosses in and Moores too slow to get in box. We look miles worse with him in team. Another game where he didn’t have a shot.
Milan probably realised they had wrong player. Never made sense money they were talking about for an average championship player. He’s done OK this season in a poor side but hasn’t pulled up any trees.
Our strategy around creating a pathway from the academy to the first team is proving fruitful again. Least we might make Aberdeen a few quid.
Lad seems like he’s scored in almost every game in 23s. Why play him when our forwards are rattling em in!
Think if he played 20 games, scored 4 goals and we sold him for 30 million which we could spend on strengthening the squad most of us would be pretty happy.
If there’s no transition or pathway into our first team from the 23s fuck it off, save our money and stop talking shite at fans forums. Sick of hearing all this talk of our young golden generation full of internationals then watching this shower of shite week in and out. Haven’t seen some of them but looking at match reports seems lads like this Crankshaw score every tie they play. Some of these silly bastards in the first team score 1-2 a season. Fuck the youth. Would rather watch kids getting beat than these load of jokers. Crowd would be well behind them and long term could be the making of this club as we have never had such a talented cohort.
Can’t understand why more of these lads aren’t involved with first team. They ain’t kids. Some cracking players on show. About time we trusted some of our young players.
