Fair play to him, shocking refereeing again, not just moaning about decisions that didn’t go our way either, he gave us nothing for 3/4 of the game then seemed to realise how harshly he’d treated us and gave us everything for 10 mins, do they get bonuses for unusual decisions that the rest of the stadium can’t understand ?
”the 0-0 at Villa last season could easily have been an 8-0 defeat”….suppose that was Bobby’s fault as well??As for last night, yes there were faults with the performance, but overall we were unlucky to lose against a decent Villa side who had the 2 outstanding players on the park in Milner and Collins.
I think you’re agreeing with me Abram when I made the point about how heavily we could have lost away last season, I was being positive about this season.
Funny how they let all the North Stand, stand up all game, every game, never trying to make the away fans sit down.
It’s difficult to compare him really as he’s on the wing so often, when he’s not he’s on his own, the other strikers generally played up front and had strike partners.
The 0-0 at Villa Park last season could easily have been an 8-0 defeat.
36 points will be enough to stay up this season.
Are you watching the Liverpool game against Portsmouth loudmouth, could’ve been 6-0 at half time.
If they play like this against us, that’s 3 points on our tally at least.can i just asked as long as kirky has played for us how many penalties has he saved or even got near to saving.i cant remember any.As a keeper you’re not really expected to save them, not if you’re an honest keeper anyway and maybe you have a point there, he should probably be a bit more dishonest on penalties and come off his line, most get away with it.
He’s right in the middle when I’ve gone through the list, just my opinion.
My watch has stopped.
He also says, “Man with hole in pocket has reason to feel cocky all day” :?
“But man with hole in both pockets does not feel too cocky”
Very true. He’s a very bright lad, that Confucius. Does he sit in the West Stand?
He should be easy to spot, he’s the one who never claps or puts his hands in the air. Hang on, that could be loudmouth, check his pockets for holes !
I hope you’re right, you’ve chosen to go against our earlier season form then which might make it more likely that we beat Villa, Arsenal and Chelsea, yet lose against those around us.
Are you mad, man utd, chelsea and tottenham e.t.c would cringe at the thought of him even being their number 2 or 3, he is by far the worst keeper in the league
Brian Jensen??[/quote]
I think Kirkland is definately in the top half of Prem keepers, it’s only his injury situation that has held him back, not the best at coming out for crosses but the criticism he’s getting from some on here is totally over the top and unjustified.
Amazes me that you’ve got so much to say in defeat loudmouth (look at me I told you so) but after the Liverpool game you couldn’t even say that’s better, let’s have more of the same, we all know your viewpoint by now, would be nice if you could change the record now and again. ;)
Kirkland is a joke. i have always said it and wont go back on it. He cant save ANYTHING and even if Stokovic cant speak ‘the lingo’… Kirkland doesn’t say anything anyway!Kirkland is a fine keeper, I would possibly like him to come to claim the ball slightly more but in general he’s decent. You James and Kitt Green Dave are blaming Kirkland for shots he could do nothing about.
