What a surprise Latics trip sold out. More tickets available B) Why are the tickets £17.00 now, when originally they were £13.00
Yep Bolton got it correct ;) a 1 page A4 team sheet was issued.( I think it was blue?) I have a few somewhere stashed away???
One for all the quizzers
Who were the opponents for the first game Latics played as a Football League club ;)We caught a few Latics fans using Kone on a sliding float ;)
Hi Yep it is one of the cheaper ones, exactly the same as we were buying in Russia. The original fox fur ones cost around £50-£60 some of our crowd bought them for between 2,500 and 3,000 roubles which equates to £50-£60 I could probably get hold of these if anyone wanted one but I can tell you these cheaper ones are VERY WARM…
These were the two hotels were we stayed in Moscow and Kazan

You would be hard pushed to get better than the first hotel. The Best Western Vega hotel in Moscow and we only paid about a third of what they charged to go on the two day Official trip. We had six days including two days in Moscow which the offical trip didn’t visit, they went straight to Kazan. Plus they never got to experience the Moscow Kazan Sleeper train ;)I posted that comment ;)
Just spoken to my mate who was at the game VERY POOR except for the last 10 minutes.:( ‘Play Offs’… You’re living in cloud Cuckoo land. This time next week could see the end of our season regarding promotion. When is Coyle going to sign a loan signing or two? and make them forwards.. Must say I have given Coyle a fair crack of the whip but I’ve lost patience now…
I’m going on a trip Leave Manchester morning flight Sunday, come back Friday night with Lupine travel I think there are about 20 on that trip and another 20 who are only travelling on the Wednesday. Our trip is costing aprrox £600 incl visa. Two nights in Moscow and two nights in Kazan and a night on the overnight sleeper train from Moscow to Kazan.
I have always wanted to go to Russia and to also to travel on a sleeper train, so I’m fulfilling these two Bucket list “MUST DO’s” as well as watching Latics in Europe.laticular. I agree, how Roger isn’t in the team? I think everyone is asking the same question.

“Be happy for the ones that did get one and if you booked travel without knowing you had a ticket, who is to blame – The Club????”That’s rich from someone who has been advertising a trip for over a month
Empathetic? I hope everyone gets a ticket who wants one and think they will. Maribor wont want 500 Wiganers walking round ticketless whilst the ground is empty cos they have nowt to play for. Im also not smug. FFS. Getting a ticket to watch us play a no mark Slovenian team is hardly a reason to celebrate. Just cant understand why folk who were commited to paying to travel didnt pull out all the stops with so few tickets being available. If folk couldnt get there i didnt see anyone asking for help on here. One mon arrived at 1.30 in the morning apparently. I know not everyone can show that level of commitment but not sure how else the club can sort out distribution?I got there at 4.00am and was 6th in the queue but if 1,000 people had queued all night only the first 600 or so would have got tickets.. There were no doubt plenty of fans that queued and showed ‘commitment’ that didn’t get one. I think one of the concerns amongst fans is that the club only announced THEIR trip after they had sold the allocation, which left fans who wanted to go apprehensive of getting a ticket. “We have sold out and We may not get anymore. BUT come on our trip and be guaranteed a ticket…The whole charade smells of exploitation.
Surely there must be some Slovenian speaking people in Wigan (Hitchens?)? Maybe someone can ask one of them to ring the Maribor club direct and ask THEM what the situation regarding obtaining extra tickets is??? Just a thought :)
Someone was saying in the queue for tickets this morning, that some club, could have been Rangers fans? couldn’t get tickets when they played there a couple of years ago, and they went over without and bought them from shops around the town?Compared to the cost of Kazan trip this appears to be CHEAP… Could this be due to the fact that Vital Latics are doing a trip at a competitive price? I wonder if Vital hadn’t have orgainised a trip what the cost would have been? and what’s the betting as soon all the tickets for this trip have been sold more tickets will be made available B) Why didn’t the club advertise this trip prior to the tickets being made available? But to advertise it an hour after selling all the initial allocation, and with comments made by people associated with the club that we may not get anymore, smells of scare tactics in order to sell their own trip.
Lets wait and see ;) -
