Relax segregation like Fulham ???!! are you fcukin off your trollie ??. This ain’t Snobland Fulham full of Johnny day tripping tourist trying to catch a game of Soccer this is Wigan against a club we have turned over twice in recent years and a fair bit of hatred built up going further back than the hand of goat. Do think City fans will happily sit on their hands if God forbid we score first ?.
If you want sporadic outburst of fighting around the stadium and everyone’s heads spun round looking at whats going on behind them then yeah !, let em in !!. Then after the game you will get “Why did they let City fans into the Wigan end ?” you can give them a rendition of We are the World and Give peace a Chance.
Give the scruffy bellends 4700 whatever, stick them in the away and and charge them £50 they can afford it. And stewards, if your are reading this do us a favor;-
If you see a trampus City flag shirt bearing fan trying to enter the Wigan end refuse them entry and point in the direction of the away end or to the Red Robin
let them in the Wigan end ?!, Holy fooksh!t shermoly, I’ve heard it all now
Brighton, Palace, Bournemouth & Swansea all showing interest. Hope this turns into Wigan’s version of Storage Wars:- “YUUUUUUUP!”
Free burger please for me
I seem to remember Steve Bruce when leaving Latics some years ago saying something like “Its like shopping at Harrods rather than Aldi”, so let’s charge him Harrods prices 7 million sounss about right.
Now’s the best time to sell, most bigger clubs need 1 or 2 for the final push and they know who they need so there will be plenty of loanees on offer that we could pick and choose from
Rumour we’ve struggled to sell them all. I know non season ticket holders who’s got tickets comfortably
Yeah got 3
(Now def off to Gumtree :):) )
Got 2, check transaction history on your season tickets if you can find it .I can’t see anything in Wigan Ath tickets online but they’ve def taken £45 from my bank
that’s unless Big D’s on the rob
They’ve taken £45 from my account so I’m hoping I got all 3 I applied for
(Heads over to Gumtree :) )
People saying check your bank and if its pending then you got them otherwise BBC2
I still think the club has done the best and fairest thing. Its pure chance whether you get drawn out or not.
It matters not one jot whether you are one who goes home and away every week, or if you are a home game boycotter who goes most away or whatever. Actually, anybody without a ST is unable to apply, anyway.
This Ballot System- For season ticket holders only, the people who have already put money forward and showed faith to the club. And there will be NO GENERAL sale.
Don’t get me wrong, if it had been a case that Joe Public couldve registered, even if they dont have a Season Ticket, I’d be fuming and going nuts. But fact is, the club has basically made it Season Ticket holdera only, and made it a simple lottery out of all who register.
Club couldn’t have been fairer, in all honesty. Any season ticket holder who registers as has much chance as the next ST holder who has registered. Theres no need for 5am queuing (I was expecting to) and it also irradicates the smugness of people who gloatingly post “I logged on online at 5 past nine and was sorted in 2 minutes”. Hard lines on that score! Ha ha.
People who go home and away should take preference. This could be the only game they miss because someone decides they wanna go on the piss round Blackpool.
Don’t you mean the piss wet through round Blackpool
Ballotts are for when you have 4000-6000 people who religiously go to away games and the club only had 1,000. in the case of Wigan we have around 500 that go to 80% of our away games and they should be the ones that are ring fenced, regarldless off season tickets.
In this case there could very well be 1,000 brand new fans going to Fylde like those that went to wembley for our semi and final, leaving those 500 who go to Gillinham and Charton a Tuesday night at home to watch it on TV. lets see what Thursday bringsDoes that ring fenced 500 include the MANY that do not go to home games any more choosing an away day out as the only games they attend, these contribute not one penny to WAFC.
In an ideal world it would be:
1. Season Ticket holders with X amount of away ticket purchases
2. Season Ticket holders
3. Those with away ticket purchase history
4. Whatever is left to General SaleDoesn’t matter if you have a ticket allocation of 8,000 or 80, this is fairest way of doing it: ie, reward those have put money into the club first.
Yep bang on , I dont go that many away these days, well the long distance ones but I’ve been a season ticket holder since the mid/late 80’s and hardly miss a game Cup or League. But, I wouldn’t grumble if a true Tic’s home/away supporter got one over me so looking at away history/season ticket holder would be the best option.
Me thinks a little bit of peeping might go on when they choose who gets one first and you scratch my back ….. all that
Latest is that the consultant is sure Jordan will be better off in the long run if his spine can correct itself and so is holding off the surgery option.Yep, with back injuries you can get just as much long term problems once the surgeons has been in. Scar tissue been one of the main factors. You only have to look at Tiger Woods, no amount of money will correct he’s long term back problems so hopefully Jordan will put it right with good physio.
Get well son budWhy???????Can’t comment I’m still trying to dry out my phone my skids and dry out from the Blackpool nats pish ale.
When your watching the game with one eye in the rain the only place to be is at the concourse bar
Did we win ??
And like they’ll be travelling in their droves. 10 bob club with soft southern barstward fans. They’ll get a nose bleed coming through Birminghm
And if it fails as a club they could always do what Arsenal or Chelsea were trying to do. Knock it down and build luxury penthouse suites overlooking the River Douglas.
Even Whelan can’t sell that one
