Needs changing again Butler La. Spurs mon has gone back. Should imagine a couple more changes by Monday night. Billy will be gone and possibly Barnet Huws McCann and Holt. Heard we are after Rhodes at Blackburn.
Crewe won’t bring 1000. We may get a crowd around 8000. Around 450 more than last time. Shows how far we have come since 2004. More a sign of how far we have been and not how far we Hove come.
Or maybe Gillingham were just more established as a team, had played together more than three times and outplayed our predictable build up a slow attack from the back.
Some may say they were not good enough. I would say I haven’t got a clue Fil. Maybe if we had we may not have been relegated but who are we we’re just supporters.
Remember lads these two were not let go for football reasons. They would have fit comfortably into a side hunting 100pts in League 1 but their pay was for a side striving to get promoted from the Championship. Two things don’t mix in the austerity world of Latics.
Maybe the fact you see him run all day shows he isn’t scared of the ball. Mistakes do show on this kind of player because they are in the game more.
Big fan of Paul. Our greatest mananager of all time IMO but bringing him back is a step backwards. However we need to quicken up this slow build up possesion stuff. We managed that really well on Wenesday so why revert back to slowing it down yesterday and losing anyway.Attack is the best kind of defence. By all means pass but pass for passings same won’t work as illustrated three or four times allready this season. The match we went after the opposition we won.
Pleased GC kept the same side basicly. Today allthough we lost hopefully we can learn where we went wrong, correct that in training then keep the same side again and bounce back against Crewe.
All contributed a lot to the team and another from the not so faded past Graham Kavanagh. Cracking player.
In the three matches I have seen him in for us he has played really well. Quite a while since someone played in that grafter style for us. Probably Michael Brown or Lee Catermole.

There were plenty comments about him this time last year at Latics and many were glad to see the back of him and others with their Billy Big Bo;;ocks attitudes.
Mmm I did tuther neet!
Supermarket sweeps are super duper pooper poos. Drop your guts a few strides ahead of non poo appreciating shoppers then leg it down the next isle then approach from the back and watch as they arrive in your odurous air. Marvelous!
Times have changed on football grounds though havnt they. Prior to kick off it used to be the crowd that built up an atmosphere by singing and chanting and having a go at the opposition. This is now drowned out on all grounds by a racket and fanfares building up into a crescendo of din subduing the crowd into mind numbing bewilderment. Everyone is looking round asking WTF is this racket all about. Much preferred being bunched in the corner slagging off the away fans and in turn recieving the same banter back while an atmosphere built up till kick off.
Good atmosphere last night though for a third full stadium.Seen Latics at Gillingham a couple of times. It’s like a rough Northern town plonked on the Medway. Three points though for the taking if we play like last neet.
