I am no lover of The Eggs but apparently this man was quite good so some recognition somewhere is acceptable but please equal this out with all the other sports and their individual heroes around the borough and also keep the cost down Metro.Well I am buzzing simply because the season is coming soon and would be buzzing whether we have signed players or not and would be buzzing whatever level our club would be playing in.
Just hope there is a trip to Wembley in something and a consistent side playing fast attacking football with lots of goals. A few matches like Yeovil last year but without the last gasp equaliser from Yeovil.
A few matches like Leicester and Reading last season would be nice.

There is no reason we shouldn’t be playing at home.New ground but not a new team. Played Burton at home in an FA Trophy fixture at Springy in the seventies.
Good news though. New season just around the corner.Some home fixtures would be nice. Wonder why we dont have home friendlies anymore bar one.Could be summat to do with the Chubsters rolling all over the pitch all summer when the pitch should be rested.
I will be supporting England but more importantly Wednesday 16th July Southport away in a pre season friendly is a fixture to get a lot more excited about.
