Delort kept drifting out to the wing and when he did receive the ball in the middle in an advanced position he just kept getting rid straight away! He needs to stop the flicks as well as they aint working! Can he turn a defender?
Interesting to see that there is not one mention of Cowie yet Rosler probably pencils him in straight away when choosing the team! Fcuk knows why coz he is shite! Edit-There is one mention of him but that was from a rugby fan and so that doesn’t count!
He is not shite. He does a similar job to Kvist and Huys I just don’t think you need two of them and I think Huys is a bit more positive thinking. I wouldn;t hjave a problem with Cowie as one of the two holding midfielders.
Cowie is what Cantona used to describe as a water carrier. Much of what he does goes unnoticed and isn’t spectacular. That doesn’t make him shite.
He keeps giving the ball away! Watch him tonight!
Now if you want to have a good read with a balanced outlook, then have a look at Neillrimmersperms’ atricle called “Rosler Out” – picked it up on Newsnow. No! this lad is not ‘doin’ my daughter nor is he related – I just found it refreshing in light of the increasing number of self-harmers appearing everywhereHe needs to get his facts right re points now and then! As for conceding goals, we have only conceded 12 in 9 games which on the whole aint that bad really! Watford and Derby have conceded only 2 less and look where they are! Others above us have conceded more! Our problem is scoring goals on a regular basis! Of course the backline could do to tighten up but the issue for me is the goals scored! If we hadn’t played a very under par Birmingham when we did we would appear to be very shy in front of goal! Not expecting too much from tonight’s game but history tells me that when I have taken that view prior to a game before I have been happily proved wrong! I will be right behind the team tonight and hope that the expected atmosphere will have the desired effect on the players, it should be good game and a point will be a start of a return to happier times!

I wouldn’t go as far as to say that it is the best squad in the division but on paper it certainly looks pretty strong! Rosler is having a problem utilising said squad and some of his decisions have been some what baffling if the truth be known! His body language both during and after games has changed and he appears to be losing confidence to me. The double substitutions are usually a sign of desperation and we have seen a couple of those of late and the folded arms in the technical area bring back some recent memories also!! I do think that Mr Whelan needs to have a quiet word in his ear and if any of the unrest rumours are true then those need to be cleared up swiftly as well. Who knows, we could get 6 points from the next 2 games and all will be upbeat again but can you really see that happening on recent form? No I didn’t think so!
Whelan had the chance to get McClaren at the helm and chose the cheaper option, more fool him I say! I am still confused at the Fortune starting the game choice he made when he has 2 new strikers at his disposal !
Only won 2 games so far and they were against sides who are below us and struggling themselves! I fear for a tonking off Forest on Tuesday if he doesn’t sort it out! Whelan should give him until the end of October and if things haven’t improved by then show him the door! He just does not know how to utilise a squad that is probably one of the best in the division!
Here’s hoping!
This was meant to be the easier of the next 3 fixtures! His team selection today was baffling to say the least! I personally think he is out of his depth!
If we are being honest with ourselves Mutty was a ‘Shoe in’ to comment on this thread! :)
Heel not know what you are talking bout!
He won’t be sleeping well if we don’t get any points from the next 3 fixtures! Tick tock job me thinks! By the way, what is the right way to sit on the bog? I have known people sit sideways as well as the forward facing more conventional way!
Maybe not, but it won’t be your lots opinions that are keeping him awake.
Oh, and before I get accused of being in the blind faith group, I’m not. Not good wher we are at the moment but I don’t feel the need to lapse into cardiac arrest before the end of September like everyone else does every season.
Griff, being concerned is not lapsing into cardiac arrest if it is possible to lapse into one of those! I have always thought them to be pretty sudden and out of the blue ;)
So you did then
I’m in T…Griff’s in W (so I believe)
I don’t know whether to be flatterd or freaked that that I appear to have yet another stalker on here. Credit where credit’s due though, you’re a better class of stalker than those knobheads, Torch, Wiganmon, LMB, etc…
And being from Leyland, well what can ya say! :P You can count Wigan fans from leyland on the fingers of both your hands ( No Burnleyesque jokes please! )
Not the best of nights for Bobby boy !
Never did take the cups seriously did he ;-)
Well not that one anyway! Remember Blackpool! :)
