Perkins MOM for me – never stops.

Although got to say that for 60mins watching Wilchut was worth my season ticket price alone.

Agree 99.9% Would have been 100%, but I don’t pay for my season ticket ;)

I thought you weren’t so stupid as to spout the old “I’m only on a wind-up” excuse.

How wrong could I have been.

Ask Griff, he’ll tell ya! Also Horc and Lostock Hall latic as well! I honestly didn’t think that you would be that stupid to fall for it if the truth be known!
I don’t give a flying fuck about Martinez anymore, he is at Everton now! The only reason I am letting on about the wind ups is because I am getting bored with it all now, not because you feel that you got the better of the argument because there wasn’t one, it was all a wind up!
And after months away from here, I see it’s still full of the same old liars and bullshitters! This was all just a wind-up, was it? Yeah right, of course it was! Sammy’s right, trotting out that tired old “wind-up” excuse/reason/justification/back-track line is just sooo obvious, the last defence of a poster who knows his argument is backed into a corner.

Admit it, the lot of you who started and perpetuated what is, and always has been, a totally anti-Martinez thread are still – three years on- looking absolutely bitter and twisted, not to mention stupid.

But I’m with you, Phil, on one thing at least – I gave up worrying/caring/thinking about Martinez a long, long time ago. Difference between me and you is, I am telling the truth.

Haha he’s still going!!
‘Owned’

I’ve bled you dry PAL

I can’t remember being wrong about anything on here, I think that’s what upsets you

I’m waiting for the missus and lad to get ready to go out and buy his new Latics kit. What’s your excuse for being on here this early on Saturday morning?

Oh wait, you’re on here 24/7 aren’t you, what with you having no life and all that. Or do you have me setup for automatic notifications every time I post in the vain hope that you might learn something?

If I didn’t know better, I’d swear you were Dave From Skem, but I know for a fact that he’s currently having his mid-life crisis over on Facebook.

Enjoy your weekend. I’ll be back on in a couple of weeks time, by the way, to save you keep looking

It wasn’t all his fault but the title of players player of the year last year well that says a lot doesn’t it. He was admitidly one of the best of a bad bunch last year but man alive his form was well below the standard needed for survival. Good move Latics, cash in and also reduce the wage bill.

Not really. Explain?

In fact, don’t bother

Ditto.

I wasn’t aware of the T&C of ST purchases for this season. Perhaps Egg needs to go back to C&W and remind those who’ve boarded the outrage bus that their ST only covered 14 league games at the DW.

That said, its still a slap in the face for the 10,000+ fans that have attended the DW for each of the previous 11 home league games and I suspect ST sales will fall next season when people read the small print a bit closer.

How do you apply for that job?

And folk on here like to quote our previous managers as good back up for not giving the likes of these 2 a good chance in the team.

Quality were desperate for, gone and succeeding elsewhere. We’ve been clueless at this club for some time now when it comes to giving the right players a chance.

It’s a case of where would we be now if everyone listened to me

It must be quite galling for you to realise that, to the contrary, absolutely nobody listens to, or takes heed of, a single word you utter. If Carslberg did deluded, arrogant know-nowts…
A chomp of epic proportions
Not really. You know full well that you actually believe it to be true.

A chump of epic proportions
Chomp with an edit, just keeps getting better
No chomping going on at all, and I fail to see what an edit has to do with anything. You’ll be pulling me up on my spelling next – the last bastion of the pointless poster who knows he’s been “owned”, which I think is the appropriate phrase these days

Deluded, arrogant know-nowt. Not seen any evidence yet of there being anyone on this forum that doesn’t think that’s a fair assessment of you, pal.

Sorry donny to have upset you so much. I think you’ve taken me tooooo literally. “Tongue in cheek”. I think I am aware enough to know I have no control over anything (let alone WAFC and football). Sorry.

I wouldn’t worry, Rich. Donny will have completely changed his mind by tomorrow

Who would we have for President? Sepp Blatter, Len McCluskey, Griff? … come to think of it, might not be a bad idea – “GRIFF for PRESIDENT”

I have never had political interest/ambition. I would probably have to start with a smaller campaign. Maybe Governer of The West Stand?

in reply to: James McClean #143459
Fil MOss – you and I seem to be on the same wave length here. I also have little respect for the biggest benefit scroungers this country has!!

Well, you’d spoil another couple. A match made in heaven? Fuck me!

in reply to: Ins And Outs! #143457
This is going to be an interesting season. Just hope the fans are patient and don’t expect miracles to happen straightaway. Like I said yesterday all these new players will take a while to gel in together and learn to understand each other. This is a complete new start for the club on the field and off and there will be more changes before the end of August. If this can be pulled together this season well that is fantastic but these wholesale changes may take longer than a pre-season to really work effectively. Other clubs will have head starts on us n the way of settled squads so our support and part in this is vital. We can all differ in opinion about many things but the one common factor is our love for Wigan Athletic and our part in this is just as big a part as Garys or the players.

Are you Dave From Skem? Talk about schizo!!

in reply to: Tav and Wags #143397
Hi Griff, it’s nice to hear from you again

It would be quite naïve to think that the current management are letting these 2 go for any other reason than to get them off the wage bill.
I think we needed them to stay, for the purpose of promotion and I think it would be a small price to pay their wages.

Anyone stating players were not good enough to play, as decided by not getting selected (Waghorn 8 goals in 38 appearances, 17 as sub) are inevitably defending the inept management team of previous regimes, which now sees us in Div 1 after playing the lone star Fortune in most of those games.

Whether my judgement is good or bad is an irrelevance, I didn’t make the decisions they made, which sees us where we are.

I don’t think the current team management have had any say in who goes. In my honest opinion I just think we’re left with a closed shop of yes men and arse sniffers.

And for the record, I was quite looking forward to this season, I’ve accepted quite comfortably where we are. I just think apart from the signing of Griggs, we’ve had a very poor recruitment and retainment policy so far.

Despite me highlighting it in a hyphenated section, you ignored the fact that I used the word “attitude”. Not all is always as it seems if you’re not at the training ground or around the club every day [taps nose].

But you’re right, getting them off the wage bill is probaly the main, and sensible, reason. That, and the fact that neither of them were really all that.

in reply to: James McClean #143395
James McClean is guilty of nothing more than rank bad manners. Knowing his views and his explanation for holding them, he would have gained my unreserved respect by showing his own respect to others.

To those of you wanting a Republic, all I can say is be careful what you wish for (I also said that when people were hoping we would get relegated from the Premier League).

Who would we have for President? Sepp Blatter, Len McCluskey, Griff? … come to think of it, might not be a bad idea – “GRIFF for PRESIDENT”

Well, if I could count on you vote, Mr Git…?
