thanks for your post donnelly – keeping us all informed about david whelans thoughts and planspity you type before you have done your research(do you by chance work for a tabloid newspaper ?) as i think you may find that jason koumas is not out of contract – the comments whelan has made are probably aimed at trying to shame koumas into leaving,
whelan, as always wants everything his way and makes comments like those to try and get general support off fans who only see a wasted talent drawing 30/40k per week for doing nothing,but he sanctioned his signing and contract in the first place so he cant suddenly expect koumas to walk away from a lucrative 12 months left on his deal -no one else is ever going to pay koumas anything like that amount so why should he walk away

I know football teams have their hooligans and that, but how can such a big majority of one teams fans be kn0bcheeses?Maybe some started to support the team for the pure reason of fighting as they already had a reputation?

I went to Springfield park ALL the time but never once had a season ticket and don’t remember here being any. I was very oung though.
Had one throughout the JJB era too but alas, my journey will come to an end this season as it is impossible for me to renew :(

He wins headers, is an amazing tackler and looks like one of our best defenders when on his game. Also he isn’t too slow! Defenders are never built for extreme pace and Caldwell isn’t the slowest

Personally i think Caldwell is awful he’s too slow and gets bossed in the air. Hes a good pressence 2 have and we look more solid and organsied with him there. But i dont think hes the complete centre half we need. Prefer Boyce playing cb with himYou wonder why I call you a ?

Well I like Russell Howard but didn’t find his stand up anything special compared to the likes of Lee Evans and Jimmy Carr.
Never had the patience to watch Ricky Gervais stand up as I don’t like the bloke (Really don’t know why, just irritates me I think) :D , but is unfair to judge him when I haven’t seen his stand up so I am going to give it a try pal ;)

I didn’t like Frankie Boyle’s stand up. It was just like a collection of things that he’s said on Mock the Week. Gervais is excellent, James. He’s done four stand-ups now and they’ve all been bang on – I went watching the last two in Blackpool and I haven’t laughed as much in all my life. He was supported by Stewart Francis for ‘Science’ too, who was equally as funny.
If you liked him in mock the week and he does the same in stand up…Why don’t you like his stand up? Or was it that you was disappointed that he only did the same things?
Like I said I am going to give Ricky Gervais’ stand up a try :)
