Agreed, it was a tremendous night.
There were over 200 there and apart from two people, it was all compliments. The two in question were slating the presenter/compare, though I thought she did an excellent job.

I think the arrogant, smug grin has been completely wiped off his face today, but to his credit he did say we were awesome and deserved the win, it must have killed him saying it though.

I reckon 38 points will be the safety mark this season – as for who goes down with Wolves – my money is on the loser of Blackburn v Wigan + Aston Villa, who weren’t on the choices – I cant see them getting more than 1 point from their run-in.I think you’ll find that the last two choices feature Villa, though i still think they will get 3 or 4 points from their last three games…. I obviously hope they don’t as I really don’t like McLeish and would rather them go down than us.
I still reckon Wolves, Rovers, Rangers….

Nothing to do with it being a night match and our ‘very high’ percentage of younger season ticket holders won’t have gone to the game. That South Stand is usually rammed for games like these, but I will put it down to kids being put to bed rather than let them witness history… shame really.
I personally had to take the stick off the missus when I got back with my daughter at 11.00, but I really didn’t mind, pity the others didn’t follow my lead…

I have us two points ahead of Blackburn and three ahead of QPR going into the final game, they have Chelsea and Man City away respectively, we have Wolves at home.

Players need to be in the right frame of mind when they go on teh pitch, there is the usual mental conditioning that goes on in the week, but I can see how having that extra boost just before going into the changing rooms can help.
In the week they just have the manager/coaches telling them everybody loves them. But to have the fans actually stood there when you arrive at the ground gives that lift that no psychologist or coach can goive them, it gives them a feeling of well being and that will translate onto the pitch.
Players are fickle, but after they get past the blushing at the reception they will be talking in the changing rooms abou it and it will give them a lift.
Good on those that turn up for it, If i can get away from my meeting in time i will also show my face…..

As usual you are doing a fine job of rallying the fans, I have a good feeling about this game.
Even before United went 8 points clear, I thought we would get something out of this game, now with a hopefully less intense Utd and maybe some players rested, with a referee that owes us a fair game after the last time out, with our players wanting serious revenger for the drumming at their place…..
I think we will do good, oh and I have it on audio that Martinez said we would ‘beat United’ this season. :woohoo:
