Don’t a bit of music personally.
Powell has played a blinder, telling Sharpy in January he wasn’t interseted in a move cos he’s happy at Wafc even though Brighton offered 10m.
He didn’t sign a contract extension then and still hasn’t? Poor show by our club imo.
If he doesn’t go by midnight tonight and hasn’t signed a contract extension either then another poor show by sharpy and Jackson.
Nick Powell wants to stay at Wigan. He has told “Lets hang on” and the reason no contract has been signed is that the takeover has not been finalised and Nick is waiting to get his offer from the new owners. He did say months ago that he wanted to stay if a takeover went through and it looks like he will keep his word if he accepts the offer put on the table. Lets hope so.
I hope so NL, he’s really matured as a player over the last year of two and is putting in some fantastic performances. Would be sickening to lose him to a rival for peanuts.
Not many extra may turn up. They may have done for the Wednesday Forest and even Rotherham games though.Really, why?
We’ll see if your theory works against Bristol City donny. Personally I don’t think it will.
So charge as much as we can for the clubs who bring big followings, especially Leeds.
I reckon Bristol fans will be up in their droves; they’ll be making the most of an opportunity for a weekend away in Wigan.Think you could be right about Bristol fans gg… Will be interesting to see how many extra Wigan fans turn up at £10

Wafc are right to charge these Yorkshire robbing gits as much as they can as the price they charge away fans at their place is extortionate. £40 would be better..
Let’s face it at £10 we’d be lucky to get another 1k on the gate so can’t see what you’re complaining about.Think their away end holds around 4.5k Travis so you’ve a very good chance of getting your hands on a couple of tickets.
Birmingham fans were complaining about ticket prices at Bolton the other night and stayed away so they must have been dear!?
Heard off someone connected with the club that the takeover is as good as done.Don’t shoot the messenger but it gives us something to post about. Been assured it all bang on.They have purchased Sharpys to be used as a souvenir/tickets office and sports bar. They have paid for all the work on the new pitch and plan to spend 6 million on the stadium including the complete replacement of all seating(would think the seats used to advertise their brand). They have a 6 year plan…3 to reach premier league then 3 more to enter Europe. They blocked the sale of Nick Powell and plan to invest heavily inthe squad in the 2019 summer. Finally according to my “mole” the takeover when complete will make our club the 3rd wealthiest in the country….Lets see then !!!
C”Money doesn’t garuntee fuck all (in football) apart from a happy wife .
Wife & happy in the same sentence, seriously?
An uncanny resemblance to the old Springfield Park. Nice trek you’ve been on & good cheers for sharing it.
Just been reading about the bloke who had we have won on saturday, would have won £1 milion on the sky sports super 6.I wonder if the ref was wearing an earpiece & jeff stelling telling him “Award a penalty, award a penalty.”
You would be so gutted.
Many apologies if said bloke is a member on here.
I wonder how long it takes him to get over it, so so close..
A lad work thought he’d won 190 pound until that pen. Wasn’t all bad though as he’s a Bolton fan
Think we’ll beat them no problem & maybe, just maybe keep our first clean sheet :pinch:
Robinson is very good going forward but defensively he is quite poor. Both goals against Forest resulted from play down the left side.
He switches off and players go past him on the outside. If you look at Villa’s third goal he should have done better. Most clubs don’t just want a left back or right back now they want attacking wing back which weakens us defensively.
Ref was poor yesterday donny and the forest lad dove for the pen. Big centre back for them should have had two yellows but ref bottled it.
Yes, morsey gave away the penalty, looks to slow for this level of footballApart from his two errors today Meighy, I thought morsy played well. He’s committed and gives 100% every game. He was unlucky not to score today.
