Apart from the FA cup and the first half against Gillingham when was the last time we played in that manner at home?
We’ve played some good football this season Donny. Try getting to some away games and you will see.
That said after today we defo won’t be going up, terrible.

Our starting eleven / formation wasn’t good enough until Cook made changes. Blackburn were good value for their lead but Cook pulled it out the bag and I thought we were going to nick it at the end. We were the better team after subs.
Blackburn looked good though to be fair and won’t be far away come May.Our fixture pile up does look a bit daunting but one game a time as the old saying goes.. Once we start to claw them games back then the picture might look rosier. If we get a point at Blackburn that will be a good result for us as they’ll be gutted not to go 9points ahead.
Shrewsbury fans are worried too if you read their forum. Terrible pitch to play on and a possible trip to Wembley on their minds. Their home form isn’t good at the moment, not won in their last three, and only won two in their last six. So maybe the jitters are beginning to creep in?
It’s all about the premier league promoting itself around the world. But dressing it up as something else..
The EFL have already said we won’t be having one which suits me fine. You never know we might get a few extra fans watching lower league games when this window does come in.
How about others post interesting reads that may attract them (and many others) back, rather than the disjointed ramblings we get.Do you feel better for getting that off your chest..
I suspect that could be correct Standish, you would know better than me though as you know them?
Wouldn’t be any harm in these people posting the odd good read every now & again.First half was a bit scrappy and there wasn’t much understanding between the team which was to be expected considering changes. But thought they did well first half.
Walker was superb for me, that lad looks to be a good prospect and I was surprised when cook took him off. We looked weaker for the change and Rochdale became stronger in midfield.
Fulton for me made no impact on the game and I couldn’t see what he could bring to this team?It was a tongue in cheek post otter, no malice intended.
A good read from a certain Mr Andrew Vaughan…..
As a pivotal person in making this very fanzine what it is (was), he still has a great mind for writing. Pity he doesn’t do a lot more and a shame he (and others) are not involved on here anymore.
Great read.[/quote]
Personally I used to like the 4 4 Friday post which is no longer. But Maybe these writers are prem fans only?
Got to be strongest team possible as league is as important as the cup. No morsy or Powell, enough change in itself.
Watched the incident a couple of times after the match and didn’t think there was anything in it.
All these Whiter than White City fans venting their disgust about Wigan on social media…. hypocrites.Last year they put two games on Saturday & one each Sunday & Monday. So if they follow the same format we will be Saturday or Monday..
Excellent gesture…
Fantastic night, quite possibly the best. Fans were terrific all game and the east stand was bouncing for the last 10mins… so wished I was in there.
As soon as that goal went in started to receive loads of texts from supporters of other clubs congratulating our win, more than the final in 2013… brilliant
