Hopefully this poor form is just a blip as at beginning of the season we looked like scoring in every game.

No leader in defence & it shows when under pressure.

Playing expansive football is good on the eye but maybe Cookie needs to have a rethink away from home. Try and shore defence & midfield up to try & build a bit of confidence back up.

Don’t forget, our budget is tiny compared to most in this league. Hence why we have Garner.

Sure I’d seen that Keith Curly Kale was in the betting too.

Hate to say it but think you’re right grumpy. we might stand a chance of scoring against these men though :pinch:

Brucie will have another bonus before Christmas you watch.

What’s all this talk about parking the bus, playing for a draw?? We did nothing of the sort.
We huffed & puffed but nothing went for us. We got forward but did nothing with it.
Midfield is poor at times and personally I don’t think Evans is that good he likes a long fancy pass which looks good but doesn’t deliver enough quality passes. Front men get no service away for some reason?
kipre & chey were worryingly bad at times they both need to compose themselves better.

We are well away from a relegation fight and don’t think we’ll be near the bottom all season. So not all that bad.

Shocking game today fil that no team deserved to win. Powell went up front until Grigg came on but garner is crap, offers nothing.

Ref was proper sh it e and neither were pens..

It was Owen I met that day, such a shame. Rest in peace.

Owen and his brother were telling me how Norwich was one of their favourite grounds to go to. Used to make a weekend of it. I’m going to Norwich for the first time this Saturday and did wonder if I’d see them.

Is this Owen Hughes the ex entertainments agent ?, either way R.I.P

                  Yes it is.[/quote]

Sammy, This gents name isn’t one I recognised until this comment. Got talking to a man in queue for Fleetwood tickets last season who said he used to be in the entertainment businesses. Was stood with his brother, both in their 70s / 80s funny characters the both of them. Could this be the same man?

Taking 8 year old granddaughter ….any advice on best places to park ?

Street parking on B6241 Watling St Road brownbill. Was safe enough and leads you straight onto m6 so got away handy after the match.

I reckon there’s a few bigger clubs got one eye on him already nl. We’ve got a smart one here.

Eddie Davies is one generous owner & if ever there was an example of why not to buy a football club Bolton would be it. Cost him a small fortune.

Look Jim if I saw the amazing Jeff Wright play I definitely saw Pascal do his odd runs out of defence doing a watered down Billy Sutherland impression.

Great players I’m sure donny but before my time I’m afraid.
