Can’t even get that right ;)

Forget what met office says it is always cowd in Oldham, after having worked there for a few years.
It’s like when I used to play for Aspull in the Wigan Ammy League, teams hated coming to our place as there was always a chill factor of minus 3, even on a sunny day. :woohoo:

What a journey! It will be fekin cowd!

What a journey!Interesting Developments:
Odelusi apparently told he can leave?
Kenny back to Everton, big loss, what will he be doing at Everton?
Shaq lad from Spurs back but still on treatment table for another couple of weeks. There’s a song in there somewhere: Return of the Shaq ( in a Mark Morisson style )
or “You ain’t seen nothing yet” by Shaq man turner overdrive.

What a journey! He can chase all he wants but he also needs to tackle which he doesn’t. Has a Blackpool fan said to me at work he will run all day but don’t expect much more which is proving to be rightYour Blackpool mate must be as blind as you then. I’ve just watched extended highlights of the game and he tackles and passes like a good un. have a butchers, there’s only 11 mins out of 90 but the evidence is there.

What a journey!Must be me but he didn’t make one tackle and when he did he gave the freekick away leading up to the goal he’s a great pointer thoughYour definitely getting him mixed up with somebody else, the guy is relentless in his quest to battle for midfield control.

I wish we had another 2-3 Perkins in midfield. To single out that free kick you have obviously got it in for him.

What about the defenders and the unbelievable deflection that gave it to their lad on a plate.
The only small negative is that he tends to tire in the latter stages of the game, however, by that time he has already done his bit for the cause.
A great, great signing and complements the young guns of ours who can chase crisp packets for 90 mins.

What a journey!Another one for the out column, Matty Hamilton gone to Stockport on loan.

What a journey!4-0 to the tics and I don’t give a flying feck about the crowd. We’ve had enough stick about our crowds from opposing fans and the media to last a lifetime, lets not try and make a big issue about it.

Do you think any other club in League 1 will be discussing their weekend crowd on their fans forums?.

What a journey!I’m not going to get involved in this thread with that stupid play on words malarkey, but Emyr if you need me.

What a journey!Maybe watch back the foul as I have and tell me it was the right option, if you can’t I’ll take the apology. If you can back him up as you appear to be doing tell me why it was the right decision and I’ll debate it with you. If you can be that adult. Its so easy to make a call, after the event. You must be totally nieve to think at the time it was the wrong thing to do.
He could have got a slight touch on the ball, it is down to such fine margins. I clapped Barnett of the field with the other 1299 latics fans that were there. So that’s 1300 fans who could appreciate the effort he made to stop the guy from running in one and one on the goalie, against you and a rugby numpty, lets leave it at that. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!I refer you to a previous reply to you after the Chesterfield game where you said Port Vale would have to be some team to beat us.
I said I’d rather sit back quietly hoping we wouldn’t go 2-0 down before we started playing.
Do you see now?
One swallow and all that! Some fans get a little giddy when we win and start to think that the smash it with 100pts comment isn’t as stupid a comment as some of us might think! :P
I am more than certain that this league will be harder to get out of than most people think. It still doesn’t mean you can’t have opinions and optimism on any one game.
Like next week, I fully expect to beat Fleetwood for the very same reasons I thought we’d beat Port Vale. To call that getting giddy must go down as the over statement of the year, although your pull out tongue smiley does give a hint of sarcasm in your post Fil.
It doesn’t mean we will win, this is football and we have to expect the unexpected, [FA Cup Final 2013]From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Great effort by the topic creator.
Did Port Vale have to be be some team to beat us or where we just pretty crap until going down to the 2-0 I sat quietly hoping we didn’t go down to until we started playing?
See closed topic and remember we will get better and despite me being called negative, in the real work it’s called realistic without the massively tinted specs on.
In the real work??? what a fekin plonker!! and yes I knew you would be back on this thread quicker than diarrhea with pumps on if we lost.
You need to get a grip man, did you not think we would beat Port Vale?
What’s it like being wrong all the time? Good pick up on a word wrong through predictive text though.
I didn’t expect to win against Port Vale we can’t think like that at the moment, big dose of realism needed for some.why would I think we’d beat a team unbeaten at home just because we scored 3 goals in10 mins last week? It’s a 90 minute game and we didn’t get away with it yesterday.
I think we’ll probably beat Fleetwood but I don’t think they’ll need to be ‘some team’ to beat us and they won’t be on my coupon.
As for getting a grip, my grip is firmly on reality not a fantasy world that’s all blue, white and smells of Sharpeys Calvins.
This is a football fans forum, a country mile away from family life and would expect all fans to treat it as such. By the same token I wouldn’t expect fans to have the need to explain that on here.
Just read the last post from the closed thread, and then look at my starting post on this thread. It was a tongue in cheek post aimed at George following his decision to close it, you really don’t get it do you.
Having said that I base my predictions on the facts in front of me and the football knowledge I have gained, watching football for over 40 years. I told my mates on the way to the Chesterfield game that the pitch there was tight, they have a decent home record and I would be happy with a point. I fully expected a win yesterday, again based on the fact that they are a club with no money, no famous names, in fact most of us wouldn’t have been able to name 3 of their players before getting to the ground. It was also based on the facts of the events that happened the week before, you could see they were lifted by that comeback. Therefore we have a team that has man for man better players and have just had on back to back wins, yes I fully expected them to win.
I notice you said you sat back quietly hoping we didn’t go down to until we started playing, was that on your couch listening to WISH FM?, cos all the fans seemed to be standing in the away end where I was watching from. B)

What a journey!I’m a great believer in letting one on ones go as the amount of times the attacker misses is far more than they score.
In the heat of the battle though that’s a split decision, in the end we lost and have lost a man. Some would argue that’s a good thing due to who it is, someone quite rightly points out he’s more prolific in open player than others.
Are you for real?? So Barnett should have pulled out of the tackle and let the guy through on goal, cos the odds say he would have missed.? :S
Please take a break from this board and get a grip, you are talking absolute shyte!!
Yes I’m for real as are quite thankfully some others. We lost and we’re man down after a red card, how was that a beneficial decision? yes he may still have scored but he still had to against our keeper who I rate even if you don’t in a one on one.
I suggest you write a letter to pass on to the players, that they can give to GC when they pull out of last man challenge, explaining that Terrhance said we are better letting them go, cos he thinks they are more likely to miss.
They could all hold a copy in their shorts, Chimmbonda-esque, ready to hand it over at full time, although it will be from the bench as they will most certainly been subbed. :lol:As for the others you refer to, you mean Mutty and he is as chubster wind up merchant that only winds himself up nobody else on here.
