What do you drink when we draw?

Thought our second half performance was gutsy Rioja

Well tonight, it was plan B: a nice Negroamaro from Puglia ! It feels better, just being out of the bottom four !

As for Puglia, I remember Jamie Oliver being on TV about 2 years ago; almost claiming that he had single handed discovered the delights of Puglia. You know what Jamie, I nearly sent you my T shirt: been there, done that, year before you :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

The Carmenere went back in the cellar.
I’m not tempting fate tomorrow; so I’ll get the brown ale out instead !!!

Is it me, or is it just too quiet ?

Is it, no news is good news ?

Bloody suspense is doing my head in !

Already breathing in anticipation of tonight’s win, is Carmenere !
A grape variety that disappeared from Bordeaux in the late 19th century and has amazingly been re-discovered in Chile during the new millennium.
Let’s hope that by 9:00pm tonight, I am writing my tasting notes and not having to resort to Vin de Table; like the last two games.

Up the Tics :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Sususmaniello, I was getting all excited there for a minute thought he was an Italian centre forward we were after.

This week I have another little knowm Italian grape, Aglianico, that I will be road testing if we win at Crewe. Sounds like his team mate !

so far I am impressed with Alex Perry; and think he has the potential to develop and play at a higher level.

Fantastic news, I might actually sleep tonight.

Can’t help but think this is part of LostockHallLatic’s deal to restock his wine cellar At last, some decent Rioja in the corporate lounge; for me and Horc. That last stuff absolutely plastered Horc and left him sleeping on a bench at Euxton railway station :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Maybe with a few quid thrown in from Uncle Dave :good: :good: :good:

BTW, will you be visiting your cellar Lostock?

Cracked open the Organic Negroamaro at 17:00hrs, with the points in the bag :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
My stock of Puglian wine will soon run out if we keep this winning run going !

    C’mon the Latics.
Let’s kick start the season and stick two fingers up to the EFL.

I’m with you on that one Leyland !
Nor will I be inclined to support a phoenix club !

Pissed off with all the greed in the English leagues, so I might occasionally pop on the train in Preston and start following Rangers (really enjoyed our day out there, in July 2018).

If Randy Frankel does buy us I’m buying a Ray’s shirt and becoming a fan. I cant take much more of this uncertainty worse 2 months of my life.

Better still, get to the odd game now and then B-) B-) B-)

And now, they have let Trevor Hemmings steal our training ground !!!!!

I’m sat in my home office and glance across to my bookshelf; and my eyes land on Season Of Dreams, soon to be reduced to memories in tatters. Can’t believe how this has crashed and burned in a matter of 16 weeks.

I keep thinking he will turn up on the final day and buy the lot back but it is looking less and less likely unfortunately.

I think you are making assumptions Adam; unless you were in his social bubble for afternoon tea on Sunday.
He is a shrewd chap and won’t necessarily play his joker upfront.
It would make a good legacy for young Sharpie, instead of a few million in cash when that Wembley in the sky comes calling.

I feel like I need to point this out…
Wigan Athletic Football Club do NOT own the stadium.

So at this very moment, who does ???
It’s all a part of the Wigan Athletic package, so why would you buy a football club and not the stadium ? Like I said Lenagan is cacking himself that his beloved Warriors will become a “spin of casualty” if this all goes wrong; and he will back any horse that means security of the Warriors.
