4 stadiums in the north west are proposed – 4 stadiums in the yorkshire/north east region so why not 4 in the south west ? it is the most densley populated area of the country
and the fact that the the MK stadium is a blank canvas with a constructed area for 45000 seats is something to do with it

i sent the club an email after whelans interview in the daily telegraph last week,now in the past the club has always replied but not a peep out of them for this one,so ive just sent this again,and i know for a fact that people at the club read this and other latics forums.
Call this a knee jerk reaction if you like,but i sent you an email earlier this week after the chairmans comments in the daily telegraph where he claimed that no wigan fans complained about selling players,well you either chose not to pass it on or he chose not to reply,well i ask you again mid way through a disgraceful display at bloomfield road,
who are the fans he has had no complaints from ?
mr whelan is not shy when he spouts his ego ridden opinions in as many media forums as seems humanly possible, why cant he answer a simple question from a long standing supporter who is totally disillusioned at the goings on at this moment in time,i would add another question
what are mr. whelans motives and intentions at wigan athletic ?
i am sure most wigan athletic fans,both those that ‘don’t’ complain and those like myself that do would love to here mr whelans forthright opinions on this highly emotive subject.

scharner is the best player we have at the moment – but he is not a midfielder, he should be at center half with the captains armband on that is no disrespect to melchiot but something must change.

forgive me if i have midunderstood you but what you are saying is,
1)the problems at the moment are down to jones and barrow not the spanish one,so you say trust his judgment on players,but not his ability to pick coaches ?
2) this depleted squad is down to who,as far as i was aware we only lost cattermole from martinez’s final squad, he brought in scotland,gomez, amaya,mc carthy, sinclaire,diame,thomas, how many of those would have got into last seasons side ?
(scotland would not even have got in the side that won the old 1st. division )3)bring in some proven premiership players,including one as bad as michael ball,but let the likes of micheal brown and ben watson go ?
4)and finally you want to include players now who ,according to the majority of fans are rubbish(please dont make me look back to find the anti kapo or koumas posts on here) why do you want to use these players ? are the ones signed in phase one of the cultural revolution not good enough ?

1. We are trying to play the way the game intendedand showed great signs of it at times can you tell me when,

I actually dont think we are playing that badly this season as a whole! However what i do think is that we are lacking leadership on the pitch and a bit of grit!
There seems to be no fight, we lose a goal and whereas teams since Jewell took over would close up shop and fight for the first time since then when this happens our heads go down!
Now when it comes to the fight would it be cynical of me to think its because every player knows that if a bid for them comes in Whelan will sell hence having no loyalty to the club!
Anyway i honestly believe come January when Roberto has a better chance of getting the players he feels could work in the prem together we will push on and finish strongly!
