Better to be hated for having an opinion and having the nads to stick to it, unlike you VAT / Dave / Bohemka / Dave from Skem etc etc. I have had the same user name for 8 years or so. You have had 3 in the last year or two.

The fact is Dave, you are without doubt the biggest Walter Mitty i have ever had the misfortune to have seen. Total cloud cuckoo land, from being in the Falklands and single handedly taking a runway at port stanley, to being a successful music producer based in the Czech Republic, to owning your own businesses and not needing to work, to being dubbed “the voice” or “elvis boy”. Absolute throbbing mantis of the highest order. You change your opinion simply in the hope that people might like you on here. Total, total double gripping shiner.

If you’ve got such a problem with me, come and find me at the game. ES6 Row Q Seat 150 and we’ll talk about it further.

Until then, here’s a li’l musical interlude for YOU. Yes….YOU….and just YOU. Enjoy it!

I cannot believe the hypocrisy of the bloke, with what he has come out with after last night. I’ve just seen responses to it that people have posted on a site, and even some bloke from Bulgaria says he is ’embarrassed’ by it. People have got them figured out, and are fed up of it.

There was a time when United won things with sheer brilliance and class.

They are just as bad as any other ‘big’ club now.

‘Arl Whiskey conk should retire……

True, the table only matters at the end of the season. I agree, although i fully believe that we will remain at the bottom until then.

And i accept the correction on spelling. I will attempt to improve on it.

You see, you have pointed out something here and i have agreed on one point, and will improve on the other. Mr Roberto Martinez however makes no attempt to change things, and blindly perseveres with the same formation week in week out. We are bottom of the league. Unfortunately for our glorious best young manager in europe, you dont pick up points in this league for % passes completed or Gary Caldwell backward / sideways passes. The sooner he figures its a results orientated league the better.

Compared to the rest of the division, no it’s not a particularly brilliant squad. Why do people think we are at the bottom of the league?

As for Bobby saying something contradictory, I suppose Mighty and LMB think he should have said “well of course we got beat 4-0, I have a bunch of w@nkers at my disposal and I’m a useless c***, too”

Griff – i would have fully accepted that statement if Bobby had made it. It is a fair reflection of his tenure. You see, the whole point of playing in a league (this one, or any other one to be fair) is to attempt to win it. I.e. to finish at the ‘top of the league’ as they say. The epitomy of failure in any league is to be at the bottom, something Bobby has managed to steer us to. Fair play to bobble head on his optimism though, or sheer lunacy, but either way, to be happy to be coming 20th out of 20th in any race clearly shows that the person in charge, and his team are not up to it. The league table does not lie.

the squad is really, really strong and we’ve got very good options – a lot of competition, it’s very good.

Watson was sent away from the club on loan to the Championship, and Martinez only plays him because his little spanish dandy that he brought from Swansea is even worse.

Proves you know nowt. Martinez has never asked Gomez play the role that he is asking Watson to play at the moment.

Thank Christ too, but keep on with the racist digs, why don’t you?
Racist means the derrogatory use of someones race as a pretext to convey an either misguided or ill informed stereotypical bias opinion.

I said “Little Spanish Dandy”

Fact – he is little in relation to most other players. Am i ‘size-ist’ as well?

Fact – he is spanish. Spanish is not a race. It is in fact a nationality. The actual ‘race’ of Gomez is Caucasian. Therefore the comment is by no means racist.

Fact – Dandy, what is its interpretation? It is a man who places particular importance upon physical appearance, refined language, and leisurely hobbies (your good friend Bobby could be also considered this) – i.e. not trying hard in football games to which he is paid to. I could have used the term ‘beau’ or ‘gallant’ as they mean the same.

I would have thought that an esteemed and published author such as you would have a far better grasp of language, however it is the typical response from someone who has no valid argument to counter with, and merely tries to bismirch the character of the original commentor. Its a tactic often used by ‘gutter’ journalists, or generally people who have no argument to put forward. Im guessing you are not a journalist, more a ‘wannabee’ if you would pardon the expression.

Could have been typed just after the Blackpool home game, you happy, happy individual.

To put a different spin on it the incident in the Aresnal game at home when Zog was sent off was that not the fourth official who alerted the ref to the incident and sent Zog off

The incident yesterday was on the half way line and I would think that the fourth official would have a good view off it as he lurks around the tunnell area

Then again inconsistant refereeing seems to be the problem at the moment

The inconsistency of refereeing decisions is only comparable with VATs change of opinion. We lose at Birmingham, another breakdown, Bobby out, Everton rule….etc

Vat i think your on the wind up or your just a fool. watson was a load of pi.ssy wank in the match.his corner taking is a joke and if you think he had one of his best games for the latics then the men in white coats are going to be breaking down your door and taking you away!!. one corner he over hit ha ha ha ha . what about the other lame corners he took that never even beat the 1st man. his forward passing well a utd player just moped them up al day long. i don’t get you. your a enigma to me Dave!

You are the fool. You’ve obviously not got a clue.

You criticize his forward passing? So it’s nothing to do with a distinct lack of movement from such likes as Nzogbia, who was poor, and Moses then? Or maybe they were just well marked by a better class of opposition, eh? Corners? 90% of his corners were alright, yesterday. On the ball, he looked assured and composed. Best I’ve seen him, actually.

Thanks Sammy and Griff for backing up my theory on Watson. Our best player…..and yet he gets slated.
“Thanks Sammy and Griff……..”. You are truly ace Dave, two weeks back you hated Martinez and his team, now you love them after your epiphany (or as you put it, your chat with Jay who you now basically just arris lick whenever you can). Watson was sent away from the club on loan to the Championship, and Martinez only plays him because his little spanish dandy that he brought from Swansea is even worse.

Just watched the West Ham Liverpool game.WHU players are faster, fitter, up for it more, tactically better, etc. I know a lot of people don’t like Scott Parker but he gives 100% effort every time he plays. I wish we had half a dozen like him.
Martinez has said all along that “he will take us to the next level” Well Bob that’s one thing you have got right this season. As for people on here saying we will have a decent Championship side!!! How many of today’s squad will be here next season?
In all honesty I can see us doing a Bradford City.
Thanks Bob, in your two year tenure you’ve ruined 10 years of hard work
.

bronx dont you know that none of this is “BOB’S” fault, it is people like you and me typing negative things like this on fanzine message boards.
That is the real reason we are leaving the premier league without an ounce of fight, not beloved bobby.
Bobble head is simply incompetent. You can forgive that. The people who should shoulder the blame are Whelan and the ‘board’. They should have taken decisive action after spurs last season, or at worst binned him after Blackpool at home this season. Incompetent, over rated, out of his depth and sadly here for another two seasons.

btw, me bird got me the road from wigan pier for christmas and that’s a very good read if you haven’t read it already, would recommend buying it. Made me realise that if we do go down to the championship, its not the end wigan and we could be in FAR worse positions than we are atm

Read all the books and was there as we climbed up the leagues, mate. Ed Jones’ book, documenting our first season up, is a really good book.

Roberto is going nowhere, and nor is there a manager about who I would actually WANT to replace him with. I had previously said Allardyce, because I don’t mind that kind of football, percentage football, they call it. I like any kind of football, as long as you get results. (This ‘good football, bad football’ thing winds me up)
But as a team we’ve started to mix it up a bit more. And with that pitch getting heavier, we’ll need to.
But back to Allardyce. He obviously has high opinions of himself. He’s said openly he feels he should ‘stay in the Premiership’ and when he came out and said he wasn’t interested in the relegation-worried West Brom job, before they had even approached him, I thought it was cheeky, and rather arrogant of him.
It was the total opposite of Roberto Martinez. And say Whelan had panicked, and relieved him of his duties, replacing him with somebody like that. Someone who would jump ship as soon as a better ‘offer’ comes along. We’ve had that, not that long ago.

Changing my tune? No just coming out of the doldrems which I had allowed myself to get sunk and pulled into. It’s amazing the benefits of a chat with JAYT, an apology to certain people off this board (who deserved one from myself) and the viewing of the film with him and the website fellas.

I actually felt PROUD when I viewed that the other day. What other clubs manager would do that? Sir Alex Ferguson only just talks to the media! It’s unique. WE are a unique club. A small club, yes, make no mistake. But if it allows us to do things like that, then I’m all for us being a small club.
And I went away and re-evaluated both Roberto’s long term plans for the club, creating a sound structure from both youth teams, and senior teams, and also my own support for the club. I’ve never moaned as much about us, as much as I have lately. And I suddenly came to the conclusion that I was in the wrong, and needed to ‘buck my ideas up’. I also realised that come Premiership or Championship next season, I will still be here…..so why waste time moaning and groaning?

It’s time to get fully behind the manager, and the lads. Even if you are reading this and thinking ‘no, I’m still not happy with things’. Ok, that’s your perogative But as a supporter, it’s time to remain focused and get right behind the lads. I’m really up for this now. It’s going to be touch and go, I still think it’ll be tight, I ain’t kidding myself, and nor should you. But we’ve already had a ‘bonus’ with the point on Saturday. If we could get something from United, it would be superb. I’m so up for that game now, you wouldn’t believe.

I hope we ALL are.
You truly are the most schizophrenic poster in history. There is absolutley no consistency in anything you say or go on about. Im willing to bet you have 7 favourite colours, and your real name is Mob.

Next week, should united hammer us 8 nil, you will be screaming for bobby out again.

I would like to see Bobby go still, after the last two results. My opinion does not change like the wind, it is based on experiences and views over time.

However, i acknowledge your change of heart, as clearly there are several Daves in there all trying to get out. You would be a dream case for Freud.
