Great news…..now we just need to re-call Ryan Colclough as well from same club!!!!
Club in a S***PILE…..Pants player recruitment in summer + huge gamble on a youth team coach = relegation.3 1/2 deal beggars belief. There goes any transfer budget if Sharpe pulls the trigger.Unless we can pull some dosh out of thin air then I think we are lumbered with him.Another managerial appointment balls up.
Admire Donnys optimism……half full glass….Here’s mine…..Great win at Huddersfield….Poor and lost at Villa…Crap against Derby and lost….Embarrassing for 80 mins against Newcastle and you guessed…lost again….Played better in spells but hey ho…lost again……..we are 2nd button because there is only 1 team worse than us.
So were Rovers.Bit of a pattern forming….nil points again.Sunday league defending……I’m afraid we could have lots of “unlucky “results in the near future. I still think we have enough to get out the s***….but it’s like hiking through treacle at the moment. Can only persevere and hope we get some luck.
Spot on….fans screaming for a second striker to come on…..have they looked our back ups…..hellfire !!!….Not even league 1 standard.
They were dire…including Villa Saturday and up to Griggs header it was 158 mins without a shot on goal.Never seen passing as crap in years and caught in possession constantly.”Next 3 games are important” state the obvious why don’t you.Christ the last 3 were too and nil goals ,nil points. The first half was painful to watch ,embarrassing at times and anyone who has watched us recently must be on the happy tabs if they can wrench any positives from that mound of tripe.Season so far is a pantomime form the pre-season recruiting to last night it has been a horror show and I for 1 cannot see this manager pulling us out of the bottom 3.All those who think the transfer window will come to the rescue then you really are straw clutching.
Totally agree…..players league 1 standard at best.Poor recruitment going to cost us including the manager. Need to play players in best position and give it a serious go but I can’t see anything other than bottom 3.We were crap apart from a spell before their 2nd .Thought Kellet did ok before their 2nd albeit ring rusty but apart from that can’t the see 1 positive thing outo of that load of dollop
Illness stops me going tonight…..and not complaining after that 1st half…..League 1 on its way……bereft of ideas…worst midfield we’ve had for years…..Can’t control or put 3 passes together ….Wildschut might as well be sat on sofa with me same applies to Grigg. OK Newcastleso quality showing but we’ve made it so easy for them.Come on lads we can’t do worse 2nd half…..but don’t look like we’ll ever score again……it’s painful to watch…….
1 up front argument will rage on but at least 1 striker should actually be a striker……
P.s…..90 mins Saturday against a mediocre Villa team and 0 shots on target .
Cannot agree..we were p*** poor…bring his own players in ? Don’t you think that maybe a little too late ? Haven’t we got a few games to play before the window opens?..He is another managerial experiment that at present looks ill judged. How many teams in this league do you reckon would play no strikers and leave their best option on the bench ?..And Wildschutt as striker……come on !!!
Massive risk employing a reserve team manager to take charge of a relegation threatened team .No comparison managing a team of talented youngsters in a meaningless league where results don’t count for anything. Not the time to be experimenting with this no striker crap.Looked better when Grigg on against Derby but setting up for a 0-0 draw and getting nothing is failure. If he continues with this totally negative bollocks then we will be relegated.Posters on here before Derby were hoping for 4pts in next 3….wont get 4pts more all season if he doesn’t stop arsing around and go out to try to WIN games.Christ ,what was Sharpe thinking when giving a managerial no-mark a 3 1/2 year deal ?If that’s what it took to prise him away from Utd then should have looked elsewhere.
Trying to be positive but in my opinion unless Mr Sharpe can hire Indiana Jones to track down his grandads long lost war chest then I think we are looking long odds on to drop down again.
Should have got something but alas didn’t. The Yanic/Thierry Henry experiment bore no fruit.Glad to see forwards on 2nd half and had enough ball to have grabbed result but damage done 1st half,Derby happy to ride it out.We will have to muddle on and see what happens.
I agree……cannot use same soak it up and break tactics in next 3 albeit worked a treat.I for 1 need some serious convincing that his team selections and set up will dig us out.Love to know the truth behind Grigg omissions, not so sure it’s all down to new found striker eureka moment. Come on !!…a little more huddersfield luck and we’d have been stuffed so optimism by all means but let’s not get carried away…..we are still in the relegation crap and deservedly so.
