Just checked the new stadium’s website strategic plan, and that says “In June 2012 BFC purchased the 7.6 acre site at Lionel Road South from Barratt Homes Ltd and is now assessing options to develop a viable scheme that can deliver a completed stadium by July 2016.”
So there’ll be another season at Griffin Park.
Maybe we can collect the trophy as Championship Champions !
Remember that old football song, I’m a knock kneed chicken; that included a line:
XXXX your women and drink your beer.
Well, don’t know about the women in Burton, but we could have a fair crack at drinking all their beer ! CHEERS !
Who will join the Judas Bandwagon ?
Obstinate? Refusing to change his views?I think that this post reveals more about you than Roberto.
Don’t agree. That was a damn good summary from Jrfatfan ( one of the most observant posters on this forum ). Well done JR.
Roberto has left an indelible mark on Wigan’s history, while Owen’s time here will soon be forgotten. Is that why we have a thread devoted to bringing Roberto down but none for Owen?
The difference is that we loved Bobby and he supposedly loved Wigan; then he pissed off when he got us into a mess. Whereas not many of the Wigan following really wanted Owen in the first place and so there was not much reciprocal love on which to build a lasting relationship. The thread is merely asking a question and encouraging opinion. So this season, Bobby was fortunate. So next season will he prosper further or fail ?
Bob’s on the first rung of the slippery slope if he signs Beausejour.
Quick straw poll.I’ve been told by quite a few members of this site that they are sick to death of this thread now.
Do we lock it, as the season has now ended?
So why click on it ? Let it die naturally; yet I don’t think it will. It’s like people watching a programme on BBC TV then phoning in to complain after watching the whole show. YOU DON’T HAVE TO TAKE A PEEK, or can’t you resist.
How does everyone recommend that we tinker on Saturday, now that we are safely in the play offs ?
Bad news for Arsene – Roberto has taken Everton into the fourth place for the Champions League.
Good news for Arsene – you could still win a place in the Europa Cup.
Catch up Barnsley, that was a day and a half ago. Have you been stuck in the roadworks on the M6?
Me thinks Barnsley was more likely to be sat at home watching Sunderland Vs Everton.
Anyway, has Roberto’s luck finally run out tonight ?Sink and draw method.
Let’ us see if he can sustain his lucky start from the team he inherited from moyes over a prolonged period, I await the FAT LAD & his witty retort :)
We’ve been short of ridiculous comments recently.
Keep ’em coming! On to 800!
I agree with The Torch, Roberto is just a one season wonder. Just a pity he couldn’t manage at least one good season out of four for Wigan.
Everton & Bobby will win sweet Fanny Adams and qualify for nowt !
I have noticed that Roberto has changed into a right whinger, the referee this, the referee that, cheating teams, etc, etc. Was never like that at Wigan. Is the pressure beginning to tell, Is his façade beginning to slip ?
At least it weren’t 9-0
According to Rosler it was our best performance so far even tho we lost…. well I must have watched a different game today because we looked unbalanced and at times like a team that hasn’t played together.
defence was wobbly with crainey having an awful game. Boyce plays better at right back and so we were not at our best in defence. can’t believe Rosler took Gomez off and brought McCann on. It should have been the young lad mceachran or even McLean and drop crainey.
A word of advice to Rosler….Coyle tried to bullshit the fans when we played bad and we didn’t take kind to it…….However, we did like Mr Martinez’s positive spin bullshit !
