In fairness I only began supporting us from 1978. I have seen old photos of our “everton” kit, but blue & white stripes was what I grew up with.
With regards new kits, are we the only club who change the identity of a kit every season? For instance, liverpool are all red. Yes, in the past, they have had pin stripes (80’s). United are red shirts, white shorts, black socks. Spurs always white tops, dark blue shorts, white socks. Man city always sky blue. Norwich – yellow shirts & socks, green shorts. And so on.
Blue & white are our predominant colours. But we are forever changing our design season after season. To me & I guess many others, we should be blue & white stripes, blue shorts & white socks – making this our identity. By all means give a kit a tweak here or there, but remain as the above.
Pinstripe bulldog tools kit!Bulldog tools came straight to my mind too.
If the premier league is so awash with funds, why doesn’t it provide more money for the rest of the mens footballing pyramid – perhaps pay off Bolton’s debts?
Or, why not both??
Even the manager has said he is disappointed no new faces have arrived so what does that tell you ?He did. But he also said to watch this space as well.

FFS, most players are under contract till June 30th nothing much happens before then. Why not trust the club a little and if no signings come in then start slagging them off. Cookie has given us a massive hint that bodies will be arriving so lets wait and see what happens before we go into meltdown. How many signings have the big boys made yet. It will start to gather pace next month and I’m confident that we will recruit heavily.COYLHere here nuneaton! Cook has told us all to “Watch this space!”
Goldfish lol ooooo your a card (boring fart)
Anyway,12 players gone, not 1 signing 6 weeks to go and gone to Spain warm weather training ?. I think they’ll be asking the local kids join in make up the numbers for a five a side.
According to cook cup winners, “Watch This Space!”

Dont believe anything that excuse of a paper prints.
I’m on the fence like mr brownbill with this one. He has experience & could certainly do 1 season, perhaps 2 – bit like warnock did for us. But I rather we sign Robinson. Have we a realistic chance of landing him??
Quick
As I’ve said elsewhere, a fabulous photo.
Imagine supporters celebrating like that today. Off to the cop shop straight away methinks :)
Respectful
Cannot agree in any way shape or form that women’s football is Sunday league standard horc. I ran a Sunday league side who was successful and once went the season unbeaten. Many of our lads also played for Nuneaton Griff fc who were in the Midland Combination so were decent level players. There is no way we ever reached the level of play the lionesses have already shown at the world cup. The one aspect that is poor has been our finishing and we should have thrashed both the sweaties and Argies. The build up play and passing has at times been brilliant. Do yourself a favour lad and watch the next game v Japan and you may just be surprised .Well I for one am enjoying it.
A well written article as to why he shouldn’t go back out on loan to Tranmere.I read somewhere that Tranmere want to buy him permanently. Unless it was for another loan & I missed that bit.
