I expect a bit more attacking the ball at set pieces…..
As for “storming game”…..any glimmer of light from under the shit pile
TBF Derek, he did attack from a set piece only for it wrongfully to be judged offside.
Your life must be a barrel of fun.
Re Bobby Campbell, I posted something similar on Facebook. How great minds think alike!!
You know there’s always one team that are out of the relegation places all season, and then slip in on the last day ……
That’s my concern
I think its everyones concern egg!

Our Dream: To bring European Football to Wigan.
Seriously ?, did you £take the time to look at our League position.
Our Focus: To win Football matches.
Yep, that helps, if we can win more than we lose we might just make that European target £50 million might help as well
Our Spirit: We Are Wigan.Well thought of, do you actually get paid a bonus for that
WTF do you want him to say??
I despair sometimes with our so called fans.
Imagine if Whelan walked in and said “In 10 years I just hope we’re still in the football league”
Massive difference between Uncle Dave taking over and these men Stu. We were at rock bottom when Mr Whelan took over and we saw immediate progress. Since this lot have been here we have gone backwards. How can he say the dream is European football when they have done jack shit to halt our current plight.
Its all too easy to say “the dream is” my dream is to drive my Bugatti Veyron down to Monte Carlo and find myself in a hotel room with Dua Lipa and Shakira. From their showing up to now my dream has the more chance of coming true. COYL
TBF nuneaton, how many scoffed at DW remark about premier league football within 10 years, & I bet most who scoffed were supporters of WAFC. It took nearly 3 years under DW’s stewardship before rewards began to come our way. Things dont happen overnight.
Norwich 0
Leeds 0
PNE 1
Brum 1
Millwall ?That puts us 4 above Rotherham and currently 2 above Reading and Millwall.
I did think we would be safe by the Millwall game but I’m not so sure.
Still favourites to stay up though for those who have already given in.
TBF stu, you are basing your assumption that rotherham are not going to pick up another point between now and the end of the season.
I think we are in real trouble tbh. I can see Rotherham picking up points against Stoke and Boro and 4 of our games are against teams pushing for promotion or play offs. The pressure on the boys in the home games is going to be immense and personally I don’t see a 2 point cushion being enough though obviously I hope I’m wrong COYL
A Blackburn side going through the worst period of form in years have just beaten a team pushing for promotion, Derby. Form goes out the window when the pressure is on.
That’s my point exactly jr but while others are winning the odd game we have had too many draws. Rotherham got hammered 1-6 at Derby but have still picked up more points than us in the last 2 games despite our results being good on paper. If one particular result is going to come back to haunt us it will be the Reading game. We are desperate for 3 points tonight but I don’t see it happening with our defending at times.COYL
I think it was more the Ipswich home game IMO thanks to dunks giving away the needless penalty.
A good performance yesterday and a valuable point but our defending at times was frightening and this winless away streak must surely end before the season does. For once Derek I actually agree with you.
Well it isn’t a Cook thing as we have done it for years for some reasonI think (though might be wrong), it started with Jewell in either our first or second season in the premier league. And we have been doing it ever since regardless who our manager is.
The thing is, if you leave 1 man up top, they need 2 defenders. Leave 2 up top, they require 3 defenders. Therefore leaving less opposition players in your box. How many times has our GK (whoever it might be) caught the ball, or it has been cleared by the defence only for no one to give it to & hence, a chance for a break a la Salah.
We almost did capitalise but hit the post.
Totally speechless!!
Garner was clearly off from my angle he started from offside to make the headerIf garner was clearly offside, you can quite easily understand the anger & frustration of Neil Warnock then.
Seriously though, I think James needs moving back to left back as Byrne is a liability.Left back?? You must be getting him confused with Reece James I horc.
Given the frustration of the game, a point gained.
Birmingham’s losing could prove crucial we got to play them yet and can go above them tomorrow.Let’s hope so!
