Micky.
Is the full stop key on your computer faulty? Just wondering like.
Ah the enigma that is MickyC.
He is different though, if confusingly cryptic!Maybe this will stop the bickering or might keep it goinghttp://redrants.com/the-tactics-board-did-wigan-expose-united-weakness
Wigan play a 3-4-3 formation.
Shush, don’t tell Tyldesley!http://www.conjunctivitis dot com
A site for sore eyes!
That’s a bit greedy having 9 jobs!
am i the only one that thinksI would say the opposite is true.
Almost to the day 33 years ago in our first season in the league and roughly when I started watching Wigan, we came from 3 nil down to beat Port Vale 5-3, myself and many would have thought that it wouldn’t get much better than that. Last night it just did !The game that coined the immortal cry, “Get Brownbill on!”.
18115 – 5000 = 13115. Great result, but embarrasing home crowd for a game against Man Utd. What happened to those extra 3000 home fans that turned up for the games against Villa, Swansea, Stoke & WBA?Football Town?
You know full well what the reason is so why do you ask? I suspect it was to get a bite but no one’s bothered which makes you look rather foolish.
Phil Jones should have received a 2nd yellowWas it not Evans rather than Jones.
A mark of why I always hated Man Utd, bad winners but even worse losers !!
I must agree – the heinous act of nicking a ketchup dispenser and squirting all that tomato puree and vinegar over 2 or 3 cars should be punished with internment at Guantanamo Bay.
And ALL latics fans past and present are without sin.
Oh hello LMB.Nice to have you back.
Ballotelli gets off coz the ref saw it and Ivanovic gets canned coz the ref didnt, weird rules
There is absolutely no way the ref saw that ballotelli challenge, there were 2 players in his line of sight at the moment of impact, and he was on the blindside of the challenge in any case. What he should have said was that he saw the coming together of ballotelli and song, and didn’t see an infringement, however, I was unsighted, so would not be able to say 100% there was no foul, only that I didn’t see one. That would be more honest, and he’d get more respect for it, but what are the consequences for them at the moment? They should be getting bans themselves if they make mistakes and can’t reasonably explain them!
It’s inconceivable to think the referee saw that tackle by Ballotelli and didn’t think it was anything other than a red card.On what planet should that card not be recinded? The gutless corrupt FA sat round a table and saw the slo-mo and deemed it right Derry should have gone. The ref made a mistake ok but them duffers at Soho Square saw all the replays and now they have given licence to players like Young to carry on diving. The correct action would have been to overturn the red card and give Young a yellow card for simulation.Just as baffling is the decision to let Ballotelli off with his x-rated tackle on Song simply because the ref saw it and took no action. What the fook is the ref thinking if he thought that was a fair challenge? Ballotelli gets off coz the ref saw it and Ivanovic gets canned coz the ref didnt, weird rules :ohmy:It’s done to protect the officials so there’s a massive bias towards upholding the decision they made at the time.
Derry had a hand on Young and the referee saw it. Young went down (doesn’t matter how theatrically) and the referee saw it as a penalty. Derry was the last man so he was red-carded. No need to change the decision.I was quite surprised Sammon got away with that at OT. His hand was up and made contact so they could quite easily have said the right call was made. Maybe they decided to reverese that one to balance things up!
thats how you spell sniping cheersGlad you appreciated how subtle I was in correcting your spelling mistake without resorting to sniping!
Totally agree but it’s the constant snipeing of spelling mistakes and what not that gets on my nipsI haven’t seen too much sniping of his spelling mistakes.
And to further support my view that it’s fair game to criticise his reports I would immediately take issue with his headline where he’s blaming the referee for what happened on Saturday.Quite frankly the Duke as took time to put together a report of the weekends events as he has done on numerous occasions only to be ripped to pieces by posters on here carry on Duke and don’t respond to them because they can’t be bothered doing itFair play to Duke for taking the time post reports. However, since he chooses to do this and put his opinions in the public domain then it is not unreasonable to expect people to comment on them.
