What should have happened after the game when the accusation was made was for Dalglish to march Suarez over to Evra and tell him to apologise for whatever it was he said, whether he thought it was racist or not. There would have been no eight match ban, no Sky media circus and no embarrassing climb-downs. End of.
It’s difficult to imagine how Liverpool could have handled this affair any more badly. Their stance was mind-numbingly idiotic. Quite what they were hoping to achieve by adopting such a belligerent defence of Suarez was beyond reason even to the point of convincing him that any action he took, like deciding not to shake Evra’s hand after agreeing he would, was fully justified and would be further supported by Liverpool football club. Embarrassing climb-downs and apologies now abound. Dalglish’s credibility is in tatters and lesser errors of judgement have resulted in resignations.
I’m not sure if they work using the same technology but I have, on a couple of occasions and during a senior moment, tried to get into the DW with my debit card. It didn’t work.
If Roberto is so in touch with the fans etc etc then why doesn’t he just let us know in some way why Diame wasn’t playing? It’s no big deal, just a simple word or two as to why our best player was missing.Why should he? Like no other manager plays the same game?
If he’s carrying a long term injury, for example, why should Martinez admit that to all and sundry?
I agree Sammy I’m sure MoMo would have been picked if he was 100%.Diame may well have been 100% fit but the manager didn’t play him for umpteen different reasons. Who are we to know?

Now the lightsiders discuss tactics and selection “with someone from the club before KO” and they told you “Diame wasn’t starting due to feeling ill that morning” I assume that same person then rushed to tell you Diame “apparently was improving as KO approached” just so you could post it on here if one of those nasty darksiders dared to question why he didnt play.

Read my above post.I can think of a lot of footballing personnel who are out of work at this moment who would know better re running this football club !That’s not the point. No matter how bad you think Martinez is and how strange the decision seems to be, I don’t for one minute think he deliberately leaves out a player for the sake of it and for no good reason.
