Not one latics supporter thinks we are top 4 material, or ever will be…….but people pay good money to watch essentially what is entertainment and expect to be entertained. Something that has not been happening at the DW for a considerable amount of time. I have been a Bobby supporter since he came to us and in a way still am but he cannot take our club any further. The time has come for a change and the sooner the better.
The flaw in your argument here is expecting to be entertained at a football match.

I mean, it’s not like boxing’s corrupt or anything!Ah, but the point is people have posted opinions i.e against Martinez on here and then have been shouted down and dismissed by the same old people and in turn this puts them off posting again.Its the way in which certain people disagree, in that any negative will not be tolerated here. If thats the case then whats the point in having a message board if people can’t vent and then discuss without being labelled a darksider?
I’m a realistic fella but if i feel we are being let down as fans on occasions why can i not state this without a barrage of abuse in return.
That said i have been quite impressed with the team lately and hope Sunderland was just a blip and we can get back to winning ways soon.
I don’t know how old you are but it seems to me that you went to a school that has banned all forms of competition – like sports day for instance – for fear of it damaging those sensitive souls who can’t handle failure.
Unfortunately the big bad world ain’t like that and you have to learn to fight your corner.The people who post on here are, by and large, stubbornly opinionated. They believe they are right and everyone else who doesn’t agree with their view is wrong. Therefore it should come as no surprise to find your opinions being ridiculed, with levels of abuse thrown in, if you are not capable of arguing your point.
This board is administered and moderated and if anything gets out of hand, posts get deleted and people get banned.
So don’t be a big girl’s blouse – unless you are a big girl with a blouse – grow some balls and stop being a wimp.
I’m better than GouhouriWell, if you can repeatedly put one foot in front of the other reasonably quickly – in other words, run – then you most certainly have an advantage over him.
No more hackneyed that all the other threads on here, but on an issue that is understandably often debated because we struggle to fill our stadium.
I cant believe how many views and replies this pointless thread has received !!I don’t think it is a pointless thread at all. At least it’s prompted some half decent responses for a change compared to the usual drivel that’s posted on here.

I think it was probably the bit about it not being much different to the DW that was his argument. Granted only a few miles but probably twice the distance.I was about to congratulate you on being smarter than mcgoose but it isn’t that much of a compliment.
