I feel like a bloke who nipped into a shop on a nice sunny afternoon, only to reappear holding shopping bags to a scene of absolute carnage in the street outside.

Bobby is a genius.
He knew full well we wouldn’t be relegated so rather than have us in a position of safe, mid-table mediocrity he left it until the last two games – well one and a half actually to increase the tension – to do the necessary and maintain our Premier League status, thereby raising the profile of the club, raising the elation and expectation of the fans and therefore boost season ticket sales for next season.

This clamour for tickets has got me wondering if there will be lots of forgeries about.
I remember a similar situation at the penultimate game of the Championship season at Preston, the season we were promoted, when many people got in using forged tickets.I will be watching it on SKY now.. HD1 via the red button.Come on !
I’ll stand corrected here but if the Stoke v Latics game is not the featured game on Sky HD 1 tomorrow – in other words you have to press the red button to view it – then it will most likely not be shown in HD.
I had the misfortune to stumble across the Arctic Monkeys on the Jool Holland show last Friday. If that’s a sample of what they are currently about then God help them. It was absolute biz.
The only way to lose weight is to burn off more calories than you take in, how ever you choose to do that. Since beer contains lots of calories it does present you with a serious dilemma.
I know it’s a supply and demand thing and some people are in need of the money more that others but to charge a fellow supporter five times the face value of the ticket price is a bit naughty.
What I would do is get myself arrested by running on the pitch or something, pretend to be the person who sold you the ticket, thereby getting you off the hook, but ensuring the spiv who sold you the ticket ends up with a ban.

All these “get well soon” messages reminds me of a bloke who used to work on a lathe at a local company I worked for some years. The fella had an artificial leg and one day the knee joint disintegrated. So off he went to where ever it was you go to have these things fixed. When he returned someone had left a “Get Welded Soon” message on his machine.
