2.Yes it was, if indeed that is what happened to her. Hmm. Be careful, I read your opening post

There is substantial evidence on record to suggest she could have been murdered in the apartment by a person or persons unknown.

        1. neither would I have left her unsupervised. So that makes it Ok for the kid then does it? Yes, you are insensitive.

        2. 5m. does this affect YOU personally.?

No it doesn’t and I am not insensitive to the fact that a three year-old child went missing. However, I am insensitive to the way her parents have conducted themselves throughout this whole sorry affair.

Being a tax payer means it has affected me personally. What bit of that do you not understand?

insensitive cants. if it were your daughter would you have the same view?

If it was my daughter I wouldn’t have been so insensitive to have left her unsupervised in the first place.
Why have they never been prosecuted for this?

“It’s not our fault she was abducted”.
Yes it was, if indeed that is what happened to her.

so you’re upset about 5m of taxpayers money eh?

Bloody well right I am if that’s the sum total of the “new crucial evidence” they can come up with.

Why dont you get rid of every anti-rugby thread? The added bonus is that you’d get rid of me, as I only come on here to reply to them!

That sounds like a good idea!

I don’t know where you get this “myth” from. Your FA Cup win gave you worldwide exposure – nobody doubts that.

However, face facts. Your crowds are likely to average 25% less this season. You’re now a mid-table championship side who barely get a mention on 5 live and feature for about 30 seconds on BBC1 sometime around midnight – long after Hull City, Fulham, Crystal Palace and all those other well-known clubs.

Supporters of Wigan Warriors have often been accused of living in the past – isn’t that what you are doing now?

Now, why don’t you just forget about the rugby team in Wigan – rather like C&W have forgotten there is a soccerball team. I cant remember the last time there was a mention of you on there.

The myth comes primarily from the journalists of local rags who in an attempt to big-up the game make silly and exaggerated comments about how popular the sport is “worldwide” – worldwide being the few countries that play rugby league.

And since we are still the current holders of the FA Cup and that memory is still clear in the minds of people, including those in Belgium no less, I hardly see how you can accuse us of living in the past.

Maybe the moderators on here should follow the C&W policy and ban any talk of rugby on this board and hopefully we can rid ourselves of boring irritants such as yourself.

“I feel we may try this poll in Russia and Slovenia, to get a more balanced view….”

We all know what the answer will be. Asking the question is on a par with asking if they think the sun will rise in the morning.

Has the myth – put forward mainly by the media and journalist in particular – ever needed to be dispelled?

A bit like the imminent arrival royal baby George and “The World Awaits” sound-bite, when in reality the people of the world couldn’t give a toss.

It seems the herding of fans to football stadiums en bloc can still be part and parcel of the away match experience. I suffered the same condescension back in 1986 at Southampton. A letter was similarly sent to the club by the Chief Constable of Hampshire praising the behaviour of the Wigan fans, which was nice!

Three drunks are arguing about some tracks they’d found.

First drunk says, “They are deer tracks “.
Second one says, “No, they are badger tracks”.
Third one says, “You’re both wrong, they are fox tracks”.

Just at that moment they were hit by a train….!

Going with the attitude that I will enjoy myself and the experience, regardless of the result, in the same way I did for the cup final, and look what happened there!

I suppose since I’ve been following football in general and Wigan Athletic in particular since the mid-sixties I could be classed as a more mature supporter. So when someone posts “TBF its one of the worst defender goals I’ve ever seen by anybody.” I feel I ought to put it into some kind of perspective.

I really can’t remember if I posted after the Spurs and Chelsea games. I seem to recall that after the Chelsea game – I’m assuming you mean the opening home game of last season – the general feeling was that Ramis should be excused his errors and time would tell if he was a good signing. Regarding the Spurs game I thought Boyce’s error was unlucky and the Figueroa/Robles one embarrassing bad. I certainly don’t feel the necessity to jump on this forum after every mistake and start criticising players and performances but if it serves to vent somebody’s spleen and avoids the dog getting a kicking then fine.

We are a club who have come a long way. I don’t expect us to attract the best players in the world or the best in the Championship but it’s obvious the better players make the fewest mistakes. It’s a new league and a new defence and we are six games into the season. If the errors keep happening and we keep dropping points then there’s reason to be critical.

It was a very poor goal to concede but no worse that many other equally bad goals given away by teams over a season.

The time to worry is when keeps on happening as the season progresses.

The crowd was a bit under 29,000, which is about 4,000 short of capacity (did West Ham sell out their allocation?), and the sixth highest of the weekends fixtures.

Not sure what point is being made here?
