The rugbys rent BTW is a % of matchday ticket sales.
All monies on the concourse, hospitality, south stand bar etc go direct to the stadium company.
So that would be a minimum of 14 weeks of income down the drain plus the rent money.
And the stadium was still losing money.
That is why Lenagan conned the council into letting him use the RP Stadium next door, so he can start tapping into all the hospitality money and depriving us of that income too.
With regards to the Stadium not making money, that is down to one fella out of his depth. Clueless at how to manage a stadium or people. Andrew Birch.Had offers to host top sporting events, all sorts of daytime in the week stuff and priced the stadium out of it. I think WASC has had situations like that in the past, eg PIEGATE.
Get a decent stadium sponsor and it cuts the deficit by half at least, get events going on. Big boxing ring in the middle of the pitch in the week prior to the pitch’s annual relay. Darts qualifiers. Snooker qualifiers. Bloody tiddlywinks qualifiers.
Soon eat into the losses and could even provide a profit so that a maintenance programme could start, seeing as nothing has been done since it was built.
Why the fuck do people all walk on different sides of the road?
If everyone walked on the left hand side of the road there would be none of the awkward overexaggerated moving out of the way.
Common sense peopleWhy not walk on the right?
OK, lets start driving on the right, riding on the right of the cycle lanes, catch the bus on the right, cat the tram on the right…. great idea, lets walk on the right when everything else we do to get around is done on the left.

Common sense peopleyou should do your research thoroughly into the subject before making a fool of yourself.these are the actual points totals
2010/11 19 games 20 points
2009/10 19 games 19 points
2008/9 19 games 28 points – bruce pre the big sale
2007/8 19 games 16 points -hutchins(4pts bruce)
2006/07 19 games 22 points -jewell 2nd seasonmy point is
the only man who’s points total was slightly worse than martinez was sacked after 17 games despite the fact his team played better football than the rubbish served up now – he didnt get ousted out of both cup competitions, a 4-1 hammering from a championship side or 2 disgraceful murderings against a 3rd division side – he didnt get hammered 9-1, 8-0,5-0 twice or 4-0 against the team that was bottom all season
jewell suffered from second season syndrome and had lost much of his 1st. season squad.now you asked what my point was – i think i will ask again—— what improvements can you see ?
I’ll concede 2008/9, but your wrong on 2006/7, we still only had 19 points until February.

The point I was making is that the thing in common with these points at this stage (except this season, because who knows…) and the fact that we didn’t get relegated. So except for one season, we are no worse off, or even better off than the previous years survivals.
Some people have a vendetta against a representative of Wigan Athletic Football Club and other than a dislike for his ‘style’ can’t really come up with anything new to say other than insults. You see how I managed that without calling you names?
Think he could take us forward. Would very much like to see him given a while. We won’t go down and he may sign some good uns in Jan.. You never know :)
wasn’t that what his supporters were saying this time 12 months ago ?
oh and the need to clear the deadwood that bruce had signed was mentioned as well
well the deadwood has gone and its now martinez’s men in place – so where is the improvement i keep being told of[/quote]
2010-2011 19 games – 20 points
2009-2010 19 games – 19 points
2008-2009 19 games – 23 points
2007-2008 19 games – 16 points
2006-2007 19 games – 19 pointsAnd your point is?
Looking at this, it is the best points tally for all but one of our last 5 seasons!
I asked one of the Junior Stripes ladys how can my little lad become mascot because there hasnt been a weekly draw or anything (like in my old junior latics days) since he started going. And she didnt have a clue! All I was told was that in the new year it will stop being 11 mascots and go back down to 1. :o He’s no chance!Every time I go down there, it is a set proceedure where they get the bodies forthe half time challenge and draw out the mascots for the next game available.
With regards to the places going down to one, it is just a rumour at the moment, please don’t spread that round as a done deal.
There are on line competitions as well as other ways to get their name down. As quoted above, there 3,500 members and turning up on match day is the best way to get your kids name in the hat as it were..
Because every game ends at 90 minutes, only a few go past and into extra time, then penalties…. why did you have 5-4 to Birmingham???
I have heard the away kit will be the black and gold one…

They aren’t better than Betfair though they have better odds than any other online bet site on every team.. above the betfair odds are first and 188 second, use the links on site to get a free £25 bet, and help the Cockney Latic site out.
Good, that way smaller fansites such as this might get a chance to grow a little more. For your info… we dwarf the official sites viewing figures and page views, due to us being around 5 or 6 years longer, plus we tell it as it is.
For anybody who thinks they know who’ll win the Europa League Final, betfair are doing a deal – bet £20 on the result and they’ll make it £30.
The advert is on the home page on the left.
To save y’all starting this again…
44,000 turnout…
Had the ones that are going to moan most about yet another Labour shift in our borough bothered to get off their butts and voted, then maybe it would have been a different result.
Plus, why does a vote for labour count as three in Wigan??
