Best England manager we never had!
One thing that has probably not crossed Mutley’s bitter brain is the reason we set the lowest post war attendance record for a team defending the cup may well have something to do with the fact that Wigan are the smallest town club to win the FA cup since the war. Small club, small town, small fan base it’s not rocket science!
Smaller than Wimbledon??????
Hence town club, Wimbledon I would class as a London club, come on Argus don’t help the plastic clown out!

That has really brightened up my foggy morning.
Or buy the flag then look for a house in Stubshaw Cross.
Well I’m happy if we get Rosler, just nobody mention the war.
I’ve seen it somewhere that Phelan has been seen at our last 3 games, makes you think that DW has had him lined up for the job for sometime. Could be a bit of a gamble appointing someone with no managerial experience, however if it’s true that Paul Scholes will be his no2 then it could be a good partnership what they lack in experience they make up with quality.
What’s the betting Whelan will stick with OC until the summer then not renew his contract and in the meantime we have some shocking football to look forward to!
and the long ‘Stink eye stare’ he gave to the lad who shouted at the top of his voice ” Wake up Gomez ” !That Pillock was sat a few rows in front of me in ES4, I was going to tell him to shut his gob or I’ll shut it for him but then I thought I’m 47 and he looks about 23 so I let him off.
Of course they’re bitter, when it came to it and when it mattered the team that cost 8 mill beat the team that cost 200 mill! they will always be bitter because of that!
[quoteThe Euro 96 semi final was the first major low I experienced
If Gaza could of stuck his foot out an extra inch we would of won that game, thinking about it we should of won the Italia 90 semi as well, hit the woodwork twice then our 2 best penalty takers cocking it up in the shootout. And was it in the 98 world cup against the Argies were that daft Geordie pillock went in with his elbow and ended up cancelling out Sol Campbell’s golden goal winner!
Still if Wigan Athletic can win the FA cup then surely England can win the World cup.
What a shame that all the Warriors players ( and their coach ) all seem to support United or City then like the proud Wiganers that they are
TBF most Wiganers support Utd, Liverpool or City hence why we have sh*t crowds :cheer:
And all those Utd/City/ Liverpool supporting Wiganers all seem to support the Warriors and that is what gets my goat, insecure plastic tw*ts!
You mean The Flying Bottle !I think it’s called The Sticky Floor these days.
There was a fair old punch up going on outside the Pear Tree.
Great result last night, and that 3rd goal was pure quality.Right! who are you and what have you done with mutty?
