Anyone who wants to see a Latics game at the DW should be made more welcome than the tone of your (The Egg’s) message suggests. They might actually enjoy what they see and come again then become regular spectators, thus generating more income for the club.
Well in that case, we are at home on Saturday so I will see them there.
Realistically, they will turn up for the city game as either city fans in disguise or people just wanting to be there should a shock happen. Absolutely no help to the club at all.
You said pep doesn’t disrespect the opposition. So did the other two or not?
The media will always determine the ‘size’ of a club by its crowd and history. Leeds are considered a big club for example despite not being in the top flight for over a decade and winning nothing for 2.
Spot on Vat.
I would also hazard a guess that we get stricter policing due to multiple instances of away fans being in the home ends, pitch invasions and pyrotechnics.
As for the ticket suggestion….give them the away end and sell the home ends to Wigan fans. I couldn’t give 2 hoots about “neutrals” personally. They won’t stick around so they can do one as far as i’m concerned.
How did they disrespect us? They played their first 11 both times.
she prefers the no mark idiotic poor excuse for a sport gameDarts? Golf? Bowls?
I think we can handle it tbh. Plenty title winners in this squad
Replacement for Evans I guess
The Egg,
Its other people who keep mentioning Barclays…..
PCough http://www.cockneylatic.co.uk/forum/5-cockney-latic-main-forum/116742-season-ticket-renewal?start=25 cough
Pathetic. Sad cunt. Get a life. You’ve mentioned it more than me.
I just want you to back up your statement that we are on the high risk list but you keep denying you have said it despite it being in black and white. I can find the other thread you talked about it on if you like.
Don’t bother we’re all bored now. Leave it.
And that’s not even a little bit dodgy…..No. It’s standard practice.
Let’s cut through the shit.Takeover deal nearing completion. This secrecy agreement between Whelans and the prospective new buyers…..
Why the need for the secrecy?
Surely Whelans would possibly benefit from it being known, perhaps a rival bidder would be interested in paying more?
So why the secrecy and the agreement of privacy? Unless there’s something dodgy going on, which they don’t want us to know about.
You’ll all tell me I’m wrong and there’s nothing to worry about at all. Shoot me down in flames. But I don’t give one. To me, it’s very dodgy all this secrecy, and I think that little
Old Latics are in for a bumpy ride…..what are they hiding? In the same breath, the new buyers could pull out due to the deal going public and leave DW with the club still left to be sold and any future buyers unwilling to do business as he plasters it all over the press.
Deffo still happens at West Ham. See their opening few months at the new ground.
Moyesy in “getting it wrong” shocker
Without Tevez that game wouldn’t have even mattered.
