I’ve heard a lot on Talk Shite condemning DW and WAFC this last day or two, yet they employ people sacked by Sky for sexist comments and people who kick the fuck out of women, but I suppose that’s alright as he didn’t call her a Swede.EXACTLY!!!

From a fans point of view i dont care what people think, but we cant afford for the club to be shot down in the press any more than we are already for crowds, rugby town, no history etc and now racism. We’ve been seen as a well run club in the past and that needs to continue.
Several players have been banned or investigated for racist or sexist comments and were allowed to continue playing in the meantime and then after. Why is this different?
Both parties involved have made mistakes, i just hope we can get 3 points tomorrow to try and change the press angles a little.

Unfortunately in these days if even one person gets upset it becomes offensive. As we are all different there will always be at least one person who is offended by most comments. That’s the age we live in.
As I’ve said, Whelan should have said nothing about the texts or the past and diverted every comment back to the fact he believes Mackay is the best man for the job. If it turns out Tan is right about Mackay then we’re apparently covered, but it will no longer look like we’re defending the club.
That’s ok, but Baa Baa Black Sheep has been banned in most schools.

AS I’ve said here the appointment would always cause controversy but if the wins start to come and we move up the league or progress in the cup or God forbid get promoted then the sponsors will come flooding back.
The right thing to do at the minute is to criticise the move and that will give them the best publicity. If things go right then the best publicity will be to align yourself with a club that’s going places.
