Very happy with our business this window.
Deluded fans of the South there a big club ya knowThey won the World Cup you know.
He’s so frustrating to watch. For a so-called attacking midfielder he spends most of his time passing the ball f*cking backwards.
Are you slating him on past seasons or this?
Did ok at Southampton and was my mom on Tuesday. So, yes I’m judging him on past seasons.
1-0. Not sure which way though.

team to face Forest: Al Habsi, Stam, Ramis, Alcaraz, Figueroa, Beausejour, Jones, Watson, Crusat, Boselli, GomezShould be good enough
Personally I would leave the back 4 and let them have time playing together to get to understand each other properly.
Therefore,
Ali
Caldwell Alcaraz Ramis
Stam Jones Watson Fyvie Beausejour
Miyachi Boselli McManaman
Di Santo
Maloney
Kone
Pollitt
Lopez
McCarthy
BoyceI think that the FA might have something to say about you starting the game with 12 men???
Ooooops
That’s different to now in what way lol
Think some are harsh on Palacios really. He made 86 appearances for Spurs in 3 years and played in the QF of the Champions League. He certainly didn’t go and warm the bench or sit in the stands.

BoyceIf I’m counting correctly (and I might not be) – Wigan only has 5 who qualify: Pollitt, Boyce, Caldwell, Jones, Watson.Pollitt, Boyce, and even Caldwell are fairly old, and Jones and Watson aren’t exactly fixtures in the starting 11 or on the substitute bench.
While we’re probably OK this year, are we facing a potential problem with our depth in the next few years, as we may not be able to name a full 25/have to rely too heavily on under 21’s?
Am I missing anyone (will McCarthy qualify as Home Grown)?
Isn’t it that they need to have had 3 years training in the UK under the age of 21?
We should be fine on that front. Di Santo has been over here a while now and surely Maloney, McArthur and McCarthy qualify maybe even Figueroa. Then we have 5 or 6 young lads in our squad that would qulaify so we’re fine.
I always wear a shirt/training top but thats as far as it goes. Haven’t worn full kit to a game since I was about 12.
I noticed quite a few gaps in their crowd, particularly as I’d expected them to sell out. Not to mention that (obvioulsy) there were gaps in our end that must have reduced the attendance also. And for the last five minutes their end seemed very empty! :cheer:
Commented on the same thing. Failing to sell out their first prem game in almost 10 years, you have to ask if Southampton deserves a Premiership team.
A few
Franco, Kone and Maloney upfront will do me
