It’s strange I agree
June 20th. Whilst I’m looking forward to it, I also have my doubts.
There are some clubs in this league that spend way way way above what they have in pursuit of the PL. Luckily, we’re not one of them so whilst we will suffer somewhat I’m confident we’ll still be around.
Just fail to see how it can make sense for a load of blokes from Asia with no connection to club to take on a struggling championship side losing money year in year out? Will wait and see but know I’m not on my own.I understand that, but we are probably one of the cheapest options out there and the prize is huge if you make it work.
So far I don’t have many things to say about them TBH they’ve spent plenty of money and have imprived plenty of things around the club.
Based on what roy?
Improving the academy?
Improving the training facilities?
Improving the fan facilities?
Building a club shop?
Spending money on the squad? How about worst trips?
Starter for ten would be a cold night at Stockport when we got battered by a Kevin Francis hat trick, early nineties, one of the rare times I have left early21 years ago Tuesday just gone.
Division Two Playoff 2nd leg.
Maine Road, Manchester.Possibly the lowest I’d felt as a Latics fan at the time and there haven’t been many timea that have felt as bad as that did. My TV still gets turned off when ever ‘he’ comes on
So 3-0 gets in but not the 5-0?
My five….well the first five that come to mind anyway
1 – FA Cup Final – Obvious
2 – Reading 2005 – Still brings back tears
3 – Everton FA Cup – Booked our place at Wembley (not that I agree with the semis being there) and went the furthest we ever have in the competition
4 – League Cup Final – Not the best result but seeing us in a major final was tremendous
5 – Arsenal League Cup Semi Final – The way we won the game/tie with the late goal after they had been giving it the Ole’s and Phil Dowd had done his best to see us off. I went from absolute anger at what had happened to absolute joy in a matter of seconds. Never tire of seeing that goal
West Ham will be relegated if the season is finished based on the weighted points per game scenario. That won’t happen then.
So are the national league clubs all then part of the football league?
He would comment in depth on why city lost (manicini leaving being one of them) and then say at the end “but wigan were excellent”
Sounded like when Dave Whelan said he had Chinese friends after his Chingaling incident.
The clubs in L2 can’t afford the 140k bill to safely test players so the season has to end somehow.
Nice little interview with Bobby on Talksport yesterday. It’s the 6-6.30 show although it does over run to the next one.

Is it just me or does Adrian Durham just seem to list reasons why City lost?
That’s the idea Lowey.Mine for the record is:
Kirkland, Melchiot De Zeeuw Boyce Baines, Frandsen Bullard Palacios, Liddell Roberts NZogbia
Subs: Carroll Alcaraz De Vos Maloney Valencia Powell Ellington
Based on missing out Sir Reece James somehow….
Kirkland, Melchiot, De Zeeuw, Boyce, Baines, James, Bullard, Palacios, Liddell, Roberts, N’Zogbia.
Subs: Carroll, Alcaraz, De Vos, Frandsen, Maloney, Valencia, Ellington
Luckoly, Nick Powell has pulled a hamstring in training so was easy to make a change ;)
Anyone fancy a go at the worst team to turn out for our glorious club?
How have I forgotten Reece James????
That’s the idea Lowey.
