Donny …. Myself and horc pointed out to you on the bridge the other week, the PJ days have gone. Yes we all watch the dvd week on weekz but theres reasons why he failed everywhere else and the likes of Bruce, McCarthy etc have been found out. It isn’t 1988.
Risking my status on here …
Mutty…do us a favour and fuck off!
Nobody cares what you think. You offer nothing in terms of ‘banter’ so do one.
Squad not good enough. Doesn’t matter who the manager is.
Don’t think we can complain too much about the officiating given that Broadhead appears to be offside.
There’s some clear weaknesses in the side/squad. Hopefully Kolo is backed to be able to replace them.
I actually agree there but will give him the benefit of the doubt for a few games as we don’t know fitness etc
Absolutely. Every team that doesn’t play 442 are horrible to watch.
I predict he goes 4231 or 3511 and plays possession football
You’ll have to let me know what the Wigan way is seeing as one manager since 2009 has played 442 and that was Owen Coyle.
Think that says enough TBH.
The amount of money we spent under Bruce we should have had a good side. His football was crap to watch though and we blew European football because he basically packed in knowing he was walking away and leaving us AGAIN.
As you’ll see from his recent appointments he’s failed to change his philosophy with the times.
You may not like it, but 442 a big one and a little one just isn’t what football is about nowadays. I’m going to predict right now that Kolo won’t play 442.
Steve Bruce? You’re joking right?
Tippy Tappy is the style City play and they certainly aren’t boring to watch.
As someone said, it just needs to be done with speed.
Heard he loves the tippy tappy football Donny and it’s what the owners were looking for. None of that bigun and a littleun rubbish.
Well apart from the update here
They don’t need to tell us why every single player is either picked or not
As I said on the Coventry thread. What did people expect this season?
If we had spent millions then fair enough, but we have literally asked him to keep a L1 side in the Championship.
People talk about favourites, but every manager has their favourites. It never seems to matter though until you lose.
This appointment needs to be a good one, but they also need backing in January otherwise it’s another Joyce/Mackay fiasco.
The world cup break may do us some good. Will halt sides currently in form and will allow sides like us a change to reflect on the good and bad so far.
Not time to panic just yet.
