-12 I think Donny
Now then lads we should calm down a bit on the name calling it’s just daft.
Look at things differently and if we had been offered 52 points and that league position last July after the massive state of limbo we were in from the takeover which disrupted everything we would probably have all taken that.
Also if we had had a really poor start and this continued untill Christmas then the majority of the 52 points came after the deadline day everyone would have been cock a hoop (as most fans are anyway). Even if the points had come gradually rather than in two peaks and a huge trough the achievement would have been seen differently. At the end of the day we are Latics and we don’t do the norm and that as been pointed out by other posters and that’s what’s great about Little Wigan.
I am sure this season’s trough and awful away form will be carefully analysed in the summer and things will be different next season but in the meantime some of you just need to chill out a tad, even if it’s just by eating a bit of humble pie. I have and it doesn’t taste that bad. As Paul Cook as often said, “We pick ourselves up and go again”. And we will, we have too many knockers outside of the club to be knocking ourselves.Just about to post the post same thing Donny
Wheres Brownbill?Watching the rugby like he has been all season probably
Jolley confirmed as being in on Sunday
1-0 win Brentford
So they won’t appear on Sunday thenThey are under 30 so no probably not.
About 2 games
Cook has done exactly what he said he would do and started to blood the young lads now we are safe. He will do the same thing Sunday and in pre season I expect.
The academy needs to be upgraded asap so these lads can start to challenge themselves further.
Did they think Horc was a local lad? ;)
Had some pretty good memories of trips there over the years. Thankfully I didn’t go this season. The 1-1 draw in the promotion season always sticks in the mind just because of how tense a game it was and I’ve never been a David Nugent fan since he gave us the V sign when they equalised.
Cheeky fucker!!!
PS You might not like David Nugent, but would you have him up front next season?[/quote]
Past it now.
Been in the team of the week most weeks but hasn’t made the team of the year.

”The number of times we’ve looked comfortable in games and been done by an individual error or bad deflection “….blah ,blah…..christ. Number of games ????.What about piss poor team selection/substitutions..?..That’s it !! We were never shit we were just unlucky
!! .3 great results and wow it’s like all the horse crap before it never existed !Bet you were gutted when we stayed up weren’t you?
Give it a rest Bigroy you tart!!!…For ffs ,75 % of the season we’ve been wank so don’t post your gobby shite here like some soothsayer who always knew we’d survive. We ARE aloud to post our alternative views in real time, unlike you morons who wait till we win then spew your bile…..and we know who your reach around buddies are don’t we ???And yet whenever someone has said we will stay up you have been very aggressive in telling them they are wrong and we will go down, yet here we are safe with two games to play. As for posting in real time….we never hear from you (and the other doom and gloom posters) when we win but the second we go a goal down you’re on here quicker than a fly on a piece of dog turd as Friday showed. Posting away at 1 nil and then you vanished when we pulled the result back. I’m actually surprised to see you posting now we are safe if I’m honest.
We had some decent keepers on loan in the Prem but the rest weren’t so good. Kirkland and Ali the stand outs.
Reece James has been an absolute revelation this season. I hope Chelsea give him the starts he deserves but I think he will be loaned out again either to a PL club or top end Championship club.
IF it is his choice where he goes there’s a good chance he comes here.
Garner to put Preston to the sword.
Past player syndrome, always happens   :evil:It does to us.
