Am I right in thinking we’ll be the last ever team to visit Griffin Park? What a great excuse to visit all 4 pubs again.

I don’t believe mutty is telling somebody to grow up. It’s like Chubby Brown telling somebody to stop swearing.

Rotherham for me. Another new ground to cross off the list.

Wow! Bandwagon jumpers attracted to a glamour game!! Whatever next? Bearing in mind the cup attendance in the rugby match last week (you didn’t seem to comment about that for some reason), it looks like we have two teams in town suffering from the same problem.

Best -David Shearer striker from Middlesborough 9 goals in 11 games 1980?
Worst Richard Marshall a Barbadian striker late 90s

Didn’t Marshall bugger off back to the West Indies with John Deehan’s sheepskin coat?

The phrase “Men against Boys” applied. Sadly (for Bradford), it was the Wigan boys who gave their men a whipping.

Sounds like the stuff Maurice used to dream of!

Has Whelan ever done anything like that?

I knew it wouldn’t take long for somebody to come up with a message like this.

Keirnan and Waghorn are both cup-tied.

I must admit I struggle to understand the mentality of some of our fans. I’ve heard so many people who I consider, and they probably would too, to be diehards that arent going. They’ve spent all season saying Thank God we’re shut of the Premier League, they would prefer another FA Cup win to promotion etc. etc. then turn round and say they are missing Wembley so thay can afford to go to Burnley, Blackburn and last Saturday to Bolton. So depsite all they said previously, they decided to cheer the team on towards a division they don’t want us to be in at the expense of cheering the team on to a cup they claim to want to win again.

Never in a month of Sunday’s did I believe genuine Latics’ fans would be blase about an FA Cup semi final. I find it a bit depressing really.

I would be absolutely amazed if everybody was looking to see what Vital were charging before setting their own prices.

I disagree. Seeing as there is a guaranteed £427,500 just for being on TV in the 6th round, then the club could have taken a punt on the extra 2250 tickets and even if none of them were sold, the cost would have been a maximum of £45,000, with the added advantage of 2250 less City fans cheering their side on.

Judging by the speed at which the remaining tickets went on sale suggests that most, if not all, of the tickets would have sold next week, particularly as today was payday for many working people.

And you’d have creamed your kecks at the sight of 2250 empty seats in the Wigan end, no doubt.

You can’t really blame the club for taking the lower allocation. At the same stage of the competition last year we took less than 2,000 to Goodison. On that basis a choice between 3,000 or 6,000 wasn’t a choice at all in truth.
