Why would the Peterborough owner know before anybody else?
Where have you seen that?
I’ve also donated a few times, probably a couple of times too many, but I’d do it again I’m sure. Also, there is a range of stuff just been announced in the club shop. I have to admit, that this is an area I have criminally neglected over the years. Apart from a couple of Christmas prezzies, I haven’t bought anything from the club shop for years, but I’ve just ordered a quite smart looking t shirt from there.
I’m well past the age and build of wearing replica tops, but after all that’s gone on the last few weeks, I’m conscious of how I can help to increase our turnover. Not by much individually, but a similarly concerted effort to the supporters club fund in relation to the club shop wouldn’t do us any harm.
Hopefully an independent committee may be more lenient
A Club can appeal against a decision of the Board to impose a 12-point deduction under the EFL Regulation 12.3.10, and the appeal will be heard by an independent panel appointed by Sports Resolutions. That independent panel will determine whether the relevant Insolvency Event(s) arose
solely as a result of a Force Majeure event, caused by and resulted directly from circumstances, other than normal business risks, over which the Club could not reasonably be expected to have controlledNo way is this appeal committee independent. They’ve never ever overturned an EFL decision in the past. They are just EFL stooges and we will be stitched up good and proper.
The focus seems to be on everything being run by local people. That being the case I wonder if David Sharpe could be re-appointed as chairman?
No problem with it personally, but I’m curious as to who the other investors could be.
Best – just the general peacefulness, especially the first few weeks. Hearing the dawn chorus without background noise pollution.
Worst – not being able to meet up with friends. Not being able to play golf (that part can now can go in the good bit)
I totally agree.
Presumably if this season is scrapped Bolton will start next season with this season’s points deduction.
It was a great bit of wing play by Lowe for the goal yesterday and the kind of thing I remember him doing for Pompey. But for some we play him central and that doesn’t seem to be his strongest position.
This may be 0% true, 100% true or somewhere in the middle. It’s not from an official source but someone who has given me a few good bits of info in the past, but he said that Robinson didn’t train at all last week and only returned on Monday.
I assume it’s a state of mind thing and that it was agreed with management as opposed to going on strike.
If it turns out to be correct then I wou;d expect him to be in the side at Cardiff on Saturday.
I don’t know the hell was in his half time drink. I didnt notice him in the first half which us how it should be but the 2nd half was farcical. Not just Dunkleys ridiculous sending off. There was a far more obvious red card at the other end a few minutes earlier. And after the red he just seemed intent on winding our players up. It’s no wonder that lost their rag with him. Twice in front if the East Stand we were coming away with the ball and he pulled play back to give us free kicks both times.
He seemed desperate to be the centre of attention.
I have a bad feeling he’ll play Naismith at left back despite us having 2 specialists in that position, with Dunkley and Kipre in the middle.
I remember him being substituted earlier this season. Garner went to do the hand slap thing with him and Windass ignored. Garner gave him a right mouthful. He does come across as a bad apple, to be polite.
Robinson move fallen apart apparently
Where have you heard that, nowt on SSN in the 26 mins that have passed since you posted.???
Alan Nixon had posted it on twitter and a friend sent it to me. On SSN now though as you say.
Gutted for the lad, but we could have done with the cash also.
All down to medical tests not being able to be completed in time.
